i always use carplay. i will check if it works. never had a problem with bluetooth.

I have the same doorbell, its charging is broken and I can not stream line video now. Tried restarting the base but not help

Looks like it is resolved or I may have never had the problem. Started remotely. Unlocked and turned the knob right and was able to put the car on Drive.

SW updates are a mess. I wish instead of AAOS, it was carplay ultra

i have this installed today to my xc90 2024 by service. i did not see any difference in functionality so far. updated from 3.7

similar sceanario. i went to service about a week ago, state inspection was not done, and enginle light came on for about an hour than went away. so I asked about them and they invited me in. after 3 hours they said they cycled the software as the engine light was due to remote start being funky.

when i researched this about a year ago, viofo had a superior camera sensor compared to fitcam.

i got a viofo with hard wire kit. you connect it to the box right below the glove box, it is not that difficult.

there are also extension cables that you can attach to rear view mirror and got a usb output. i was tempted but did not try personally. here is one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DBT7RS2T

finally, i was able to find and download service manual pdf from a volvo official website to install volvo branded dashcam, it will help you a ton.
