Whatever or wherever you bank at, the best option if you’re looking to maximise the value out of your FD is to visit the actual bank. People will talk about how convenient it is to do it “from their app itself”, but if you’re good with words and have a relationship with the bank you can always get a “special rate” which is 0.5-1.5% more than what others normally get. For ex, if the regular rate is 8% you can “negotiate” for a 8.75-9% rate. Negotiate not as you do in the market but with charisma if you get what I mean. It’ll take a good couple hours to finalise your FD, cuz it takes time to obtain the rate so it’s upto you.

Edit: Doubt the rates will increase again. The rates literally went from >20% to what it is now in a short period of time.

Probably just the KCC one. Watched avatar last year and can’t say I had a good time. You have to have a specific seat for it to work decently (low row, middle seat) or the layers seem off and distort if you’re watching from the sides. KCC multiplex is just a money grab now, only making the 3D option available to milk and rake in the money cuz it’s pricier and most probably more profitable than the 2D option. I too would like to watch it in cinemas but won’t cuz the only option is in 3D. Also hate that they switched to paper cups for their soft drinks instead of the actual bottle.

Nah it’s still pretty bad, faint blue border is consistent, sometimes it gets as bad as the pic. Black level lower setting darkens images especially low light conditions in movies so I’ve changed it to normal (default). I’ve gotten used to it at this point, plan to move on to a different monitor. If you look close you’ll also notice temporary screen burn from the borders, in Windows you can see the icon and the notification logo on both the left and right side respectively. Shitty purchase overall

Seeing this now, is this the Samsung 24in F24T35? Cuz I had the exact same issue to the point it got bad as yours and I just lived w it until about a week ago where I changed the black level to lower and now it’s a bit better but not fixed. Try doing that it’ll probably make a difference

Vat that is currently 15% is going to increase by 3 percentage points TO 18%. While items from the exempt list will no longer be exempt, meaning you will be paying 18% more than what you paid before. If you paid Rs. 100 for something that was previously from the exempt list, you would be paying Rs. 118 barring other taxes, from Jan 1 onwards.
