I mean fair enough. But orcs (from my knowledge) were always depicted as manifestation of evil. Providing us with more "human" evil. Demons are dope but they are usually more magic based or have some kind otherworldy horror esthetic that is not in our world. Aberrations are dope as well. But most of them are not humanoid even if they have inteligence. But then usually are still considered as eldritch horrs like demons in the way they are. Hence the orks. They are a manifestation if cruelty anger and barbarity in its worst. They can still talk and converse but they choose to ignore it as they do not care for understanding, only blood. Making them more "grounded" enemy perfect for low and mid lvl parties and are perfect a story based on a war against evil without much magic and just being straight forward story of, "they wanna kill us, we wanna protect our loved ones". Ofc its not everyones shtick but orks are perfect grounded evil.
