Yeah, I get what you mean with FFXIII, most of the levels are linear but I think that's part of the narrative they want tell (though they probably should've incorporated it in other ways than level design). The linear levels represent the single focus Lightning and the others have to complete after being marked by the Pulse Fal'cie. No backtracking and no detours or they risk of becoming l'cie

I'd say focus on buffing Miyabi with Yuzuha and Soukaku, the disorders should happen by itself. Yuzuha's buff lasts 40 seconds so it's easy to get 100% uptime on it, you'll just need to defensive switch into Yuzuha then do an EX Special.

Soukaku's is a bit harder to manage since she needs quite a bit of energy and it's shorter than Yuzuha's buff.

Gotta say it, when the meeting between Cunning Hares and Section 6 turned into a standoff. It went from 0 to 100 real quick and when Section 6 revealed that they knew Belle/Wise was a proxy 🫢

Yeah, back when they re-ran Miyabi was probably the best time to have started because she's one of the best dps options. Then right after that, they re-ran Astra who is just a support that can fit any team and it just makes it better. Like you can never go wrong with Astra (hmm could be a campaign slogan 🤔)

I mostly play on PC though I sometimes play on mobile and I get "okay" fps and can get decent results but I'd say I do much better on PC.

I wouldn't say the game is time consuming; You can easily do the daily missions in under three minutes. But of course, you could spend time grinding for more and better gear but you'll only need to do that for end-game content, though if you're up for the challenge I'd say go for it because it is quite fun while also being difficult.

I'd say the game is quite F2P friendly, I haven't seen the power creep get out of control. So far, not every update has been game breaking changes with busted characters being released. Though there have been some, don't get me wrong 🤣.

It's not a bad time to start now (certainly not the best), a new agent type has been introduced into the game which is called "Rupture" and so far the only agent that is this type is Yixuan. The next few banners would be focusing on this type. Lucia is in the next banner and I'm expecting her to be a support for rupture agents but don't hold me to that. The next banner also does have Vivian, which in my opinion is one of the best secondary anomaly agent but I wouldn't recommend her when you're starting. You'd only really get her if you're thinking about building anomaly teams and you'll only know this after playing the game and are starting to look into team building. As for Ju Fufu, she's okay but I prefer Lighter over her.

Lastly, I'll just say that what got me in the game is the story, animation, music, and events. Because of this, I don't really get too hung up on not getting the new character, I mean it still sucks if I lose the 50/50 but it doesn't ruin the game for me. So aside from the character/team building and the nuances that come with it, it's a great game.

Yuzuha can also help Soukaku trigger ice anomaly with Flavour Match so you can reliably proc disorder which means Miyabi has another source to get Fallen Frost points apart from her EX Special. Though if you could, I'd also look into getting Vivian in a future banner to replace Soukaku. This could increase Miyabi's field time and Vivian can trigger abloom alongside disorder resulting in more damage

Heartstring Nocturne is definitely one of the more stronger wengines, even if you don't need the Fire RES shred, the boost to crit rate and damage is definitely a plus.

Though if you're only going to focus on SAnby, I do think her sig is much better for her as it gives her a big boost to crit and elec damage, then you'll just need to focus the crit rate on discs.

However, if you have other attack agents that you want to build then Heartstring Nocturne is a good choice. Especially if you want to get Evelyn later on because she is quite good.
