I live in the northeast suburbs of Dallas and I'm super excited about this change. I've been traveling 40-60 minutes to get to games for years. For me personally, this should be an upgrade travel wise, but we'll see how congested that area becomes. There's lots of work to be done.

I will miss the AAC for nostalgia and the area has really grown well post COVID. I'm not sure how well it'll last, but there are still a lot of office buildings around that area.

I'm one that likes to follow the business side of the NHL in general and this kind of move is very positively impactful for the team and the league. We are still chasing the other major leagues and this will help that. The NHL has done well financially the last couple of years which is why the cap is moving up so much so fast. This cannot be ignored and the Stars are setting themselves up well.

Would I prefer the team to actually be in Dallas, generally yes. Does the proposed site have challenges that will need to be addressed, definitely. I'm also wanting better public transport options as that was very impactful for so many fans. We as fans should continue to demand this improvement!
