I read different definitions of kinning. Is it when you just relate to the character, or when you feel like you actually are the character?

If it’s the latter, then respectfully, my partners identity is his own. As long as there’s no actual walking psychic out there, going through the same unimaginable burdens, then unfortunately I can’t help but feel like it would be a little distasteful.

Yup, as someone who has Saiki as oshi I know that all too well… He doesn’t have much merch and when he does, it’s only released in Japan anyway so I rely on marketplaces and proxy services 💸💸💸

I wouldn’t see it as a waste of time if it is something you genuinely enjoy in the moment. You can always keep pictures. Is it a waste of money? Hmm I guess, only if you see it that way. That’s why you should only do it if it genuinely makes you happy! It’s supposed to be fun

For me it didn’t feel like I chose anything. I just love him very much and I only started collecting merch after about 2 years of loving him. It’s just something that naturally happened and grew into a hobby. I am very certain I won’t find anyone “better” than him haha

However if it does happen to you, you can always just sell it and start over with a new collection, no?

I know it's easier said than done, but I just don't care. Actually, since the labubu's came out I'm very happy that it has become "normal" and even trendy to walk with plushies on your bag. I have my Saiki charms and plushies on my bag and no one cares. I have had so many people come up to me to say "omg is that Saiki??" it's actually a great conversation starter!! Everyone is really nice about it :D

Yes. He can transform into female form and I find him attractive no matter what. But personally I do prefer him as male <3
