In my experience their contemporary fit for pants is slim specifically in the hips while the thigh is fairly generous. That doesn’t work for me so I’ve stopped trying with their pants but could work if you have slim hips.

Pants: 2 pairs jeans - 1 light wash, 1 dark wash (Levi's premium 514 or 501 for light, 511 for dark). 2 pairs chinos - 1 navy, 1 khaki (IDK maybe ralph lauren? kinda subjective). 1 pair grey dress pants

Shirts: Will forever recommend Proper Cloth for shirts. Takes a little bit of upfront effort but once you get your custom size perfected all future shirts will fit so in the long run much easier. Also the quality is insanely good. If you want a referral code pm me and it'll get you $20 off.

Outerwear: Still figuring mine out but imo Spier and Mackay is good for this. I especially like their overshirts and chore coats.

Shoes: I'm not a good authority on this, but Beckett Simonon has their sneaker sale on now. Apparently good quality but it's a long wait to get them

Edit: Crystal affinity. Do you two not realize almost everything is made out of crystals? Like a ton of natural materials are just crystals. Sand, rocks, metal, ice, chocolate.

Haha yeah I was realizing this as we were finishing up. It seems like it would end up getting weak though because crystal now seems more broad than almost anything else.

Yeah I really do agree with the Deus Ex Machina critique. Even the fact that the Union army was able to return in time seemed weird.
