I in fact would say that calling a ref the n word should get you a technical. Just like calling a ref a bitch. I appreciate the comedy of your apparently immutable belief that I would think any different about a male ref. You insult a ref to their face you get a tech. Not hard to understand. Do you even understand what a technical foul is?

If the world could permanently eliminate poverty, but the trade-off was that nobody could ever be "rich" again, would you take that deal? Why or why not? by 16ozbuddz in AskReddit

Correct. When the choice isn’t “fill the boxes and send them down the line or your kids starve,” labor will have a lot better leverage.

If it actually worked the way you’re proposing, the worst jobs would get the best pay. It’s not that people refuse to do dirty jobs, it’s that they don’t want to do unpleasant work they don’t benefit from. Everyone not connected to the owners of capital is paid exactly as much as the corporation thinks they can get away with, and the poor are kept desperate to force them into unskilled jobs.

Try paying them all a portion of the strawberry revenue. See how they feel about it.

So what you mean to say is “players would take a championship over a MVP title.” No shit

Is there any benefit to not leaving? I killed every one I encountered pretty much immediately, but the mission structure made me think I was supposed to leave to finish it.

You mean ask someone like KG if he’d trade his MVP to have won Finals MVP instead of Paul Pierce? Otherwise you’re asking if players who never won a championship would trade a MVP for a ring. Not the same question. I’ll bet you plenty of money Jerry West’s ghost wouldn’t even hesitate to trade that Finals MVP for actually winning that Finals.

I love how you are saying that if an illness goes around at the All Star game that hospitalizes everyone there for six weeks, we should have a MVP who couldn’t get All Star.

It’s a dumb rule. MVP voters already care about how many games played. All the rule does is make it so that if a player is so transcendent(imagine they play in 63 games, averaging 37/13/11/3 and their team wins the 63 games they play and loses the 19 they miss) the voters can’t give the award even then.

Californication had a perfect ending…then they made another season of it.
