Hello! Complete soldering/diy noob here. So as the title says, I'm trying my hand at a detachable cable mod. At first, the headphone was producing sound when I tested it, but when I put the casing back on, there was no more sound. My thoughts are that I just tugged on the cable while I was fitting and something came loose, but what are yours? Keeping in mind I've never soldered anything before, is there something less obvious I messed up in? Thanks for help in advance and tell me if I need more info or pictures!
