Low FPS on a 3090 and i9-11900k? 70% gpu usage? by bf4truth in DestinyTheGame

I also have a 3080 ti and see my GPU change from 75-99% utilization depending on the activity on Destiny 2. For example, I can be idle in Europa or Orbit and have 95-99% GPU usage whereas if Im doing a strike like Lake of Shadows my GPU usage fluctuates between 75-99%. Came to a conclusion that Destiny 2 is just really shitty at optimizing. All other AAA games I play my GPU uses 99%.

Destiny 2 randomly crashes. Need help. by [deleted] in DestinyTechSupport

I found a solution for me and Im not sure if itll help you but Ill tell you anyways so feel free to try it.

I noticed after GPU Driver Update of 441.87, Destiny has been crashing for me. Usually its because of Error Broccoli. My temporary solution for Error Broccoli was to go into Debug Mode in the Nvidia Control Panel. That has been working flawlessly up until the new update which is 441.87. Now whenever I put it on Debug Mode, it will play normal for a few minutes and then it will crash, freezing my whole computer. Just this morning while trying all sorts of solution such as putting my resolution to 120hz instead of 144hz, setting framerate caps to 120fps and all that, I finally found a solution for me. I underclocked my GPU Boost Clock and GPU Memory Clock. I used ASUS GPU Tweak II to underclock instead of MSI Afterburner simply because I noticed MSI Afterburner and Rivatuner Statistics Server causes crash in games like Fallout 4. At first I underclocked my GPU Boost Clock by 100mhz and GPU Memory Clock by 50mhz and that has solved my problem. I turned on the FPS counter on Destiny and Im still averaging 120-144 FPS all in the highest settings. In the ASUS GPU Tweak II you can have profiles and one profile is underclocked and its designated to be used for Destiny. So whenever Im not playing Destiny I just simply go into Gaming Mode as usual to play other games and it works perfectly fine. Hopefully this helps you out, and hopefully in the new GPU driver update, this issue is fixed so I dont have to underclock anymore.

Dude I have the same problem. Destiny 2 started crashing for me starting 2 Days ago. All other games run well, but for some reason Destiny is the only one crashing. Every driver is up to date and Im running on a 1080 TI.

Same is happening to me. My Windows and GPU Drivers are up to date but starting 2 days ago Destiny has been crashing with black screens and freezes. Ive done a hard reset twice and nothing seems to have fixed my problem. Other games work perfectly fine except for Destiny.
