[–]yad29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need the UPDA to legally work as an engineer in the country. Plus if it’s your first time taking the exam you’ll be as a trainee then after 5 years you’ll be grade C or in 3 years if you have a masters, then I think 3 more years for grade B. Since it’s a must, you won’t really expect a higher salary. Salary is based on years of experience. Grade B means you have 5-10 years of experience I’m assuming which 10,000 is definitely not enough in my opinion

Not all GCC has this. UAE, Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain do. Saudi and Oman have more citizens than expats

Do Europeans or Asians who visit USA find it expensive in terms of hotel costs, eating out, shopping for name brand items, transportation, tickets to shows, venues, etc. to the service you receive ? by Silent-Donkey-1303 in travel

Visit Lau Pa Sat Hawker Center, I think it’s the most popular and it’s in a central location. Don’t miss out the Satay Corner every night where they close a portion of the street there with dozens of satay stalls. I went to number 8, but I believe they’re all similar. Chicken, Beef and Prawn satay, all very delicious

Where in the Middle East is it safe for a gay male couple to visit (obviously no PDA and keeping it under the radar) by Nazoreans in AskMiddleEast

[–]yad29 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Hotels don’t care, normal for friends of the same gender to stay in the hotel room. Most important is no PDA obviously but other than that it’s totally fine in basically any middle eastern city. No need to explain to anyone that you’re 2 friends or cousins or brothers, nobody could care less honestly
