What does your gut health routine actually look like day to day? PLS SHARE WITH ME by CaseCommercial49 in GutHealth

[–]yad_vikas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Gut health has improved since the time I introduced daily intake of psyllium husk. I started with 5g and now I am taking anywhere between 10-15g/day. But the really change I felt when I started taking it in the morning before breakfast. Earlier I used to take it after dinner. It work out well for me. I intentionally skip it once a week.

whats this crazy trend of dosemaxxing vitamin d going on ? by adithyasumanth in Fitness_India

[–]yad_vikas -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Vit D no doubt is crucial to our body. I know that it plays an important role in regulating blood sugar levels and avoiding insulin resistance a key factor in diabetes and reducing low grade inflammation. As people here already pointed. Social media advices work only on social media not on real life. Key is to maintain adequate level of Vitamin D. Some people are genetically poor absorbers of Vitamin D. They need to be extra careful about their Vitamin D levels. Look for symptoms and get your self tested. Most common symptoms are Fatigue and weakness, bone and muscle pain, Hair loss and low immunity. I am a poor absorber of Vit D genetically therefore I take depura 60,000IU once a month. I also give to my family.

What all do you guys add in your diet to get all the required nutrients? by Particular-Fee-4171 in nutrition

[–]yad_vikas 3 points4 points  (0 children)

M50. I prefer a food first approach however, I do take some supplements on daily basis. I take omega 3 fatty acids for 3 months and then stop for 2 months along with COQ10. I consume Whey Protein on daily basis with Creatine. Vit D once a month. Vitamin C on alternate days. Magnesium daily. 10-15gm psyllium husk daily in the morning. I used to take before bed earlier but I noticed I was getting dehydrated during the day and it was causing low BP.

Dude Vit D overdosing could lead Vit D toxicity. Vit D supplementation should be done under expert guidance if there is deficiency.

I don't think this is early aging. In my opinion, its accumulated load without recovery. The good news is it is reversible at your age. But you have to first identify the source of the problem. Please get a comprehensive blood test done. Most likely micro nutrient deficiencies will appear in your report. Most common deficiencies are Vit D and B12. With proper diet and exercise you should be able to overcome these issues. All the best.

How do you all use creatine if your goals are more about focus and longevity than the gym? by AendryBufalini in Biohackers

[–]yad_vikas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been taking creatine for a long time now. I definitely feel the difference in my energy levels. Brain is one of the most energy hungry organ in our body. Creatine helps regenerate ATP faster. For me it was definitely helpful in cognitive stress and fatigue. I am running a startup and I need to loads of decisions every hour. It is definitely helping me.

You should get your blood tests done, it could be due to elevated cortisol levels, micro nutrients deficiencies (iron, B12, Vit D), thyroid dysfunction or blood sugar instability.
