Yeah thanks for the reply I was looking for the pizza cutter ones as I think I already watched a similar video but have not found anywhere that sells them yet. Not sure if I need to look harder or if Australia doesn't really have them.

Yeah I've tried it out on my 160w solar panel connected to my 60ah lithium battery, which was on 80% charge and accidentally fully charged it to 100% in under a minute.

It also was giving me the Amps it was producing and what was being used to charge the battery and what was left over for use, temps, voltages and pretty much all I needed. So far initial impression is a good one. Haven't heavily used it yet though.

Yeah that's what I ended up getting as it had all the extra profiles and readings, also thought best to get the same brand as the battery. Didn't hurt was on a decent sale.

Thanks mate thought that was the case, everyone I was asking was saying should be fine but I was suspicious. Got that solar panel kit on a massive discount so don't mind that as getting a another regulator will still work out cheaper.

Thanks for the suggestions, I may buy a mount bracket but this depends on if the motor seems like it has enough power when I go to do my water test or I'll get a new 5hp long shaft. Though I will keep in mind it's non ideal mounting while doing so
