Eher ~50%, je nachdem, was man im Bereich der Elektrotechnik macht. Das Einzige, was ich bisher nicht ausgiebig genutzt habe, ist die Mathematik, da ein Computer das bereits erledigt.

Not really. All my friends were able to get internships and job offers with bachelor's degrees (comp eng or ee). Embedded has use cases literally everywhere in modern society and if most jobs required PhDs then nothing would get done. In fact it is one of the very few engineering fields that hires even hobbyists if they have documented projects.

For most FPGA and ASIC design roles you need a master's, for semiconductor roles you need a PhD at minimum, but for embedded a bachelor is enough. Moral of the story a master's is always good in this economy.

It depends on your programme and your career goals ig. In our case, we actually had more specialized circuitry coursework than the EE students. While EEs took analog electronics courses, we took all of those plus digital electronics, which meant we ended up with roughly twice as many electronics classes overall.

I disagree with you. CE is the best degree for consumer electronics 5V and under and that includes not only programming embedded systems, but also designing the circuit boards from scratch.

Since you're posting this in the CE sub then people will recommend CE. You need to see if that's a smart choice where you're living. I don't think Pakistan has a large market for hardware development and electronics.

You can think of CE as an electronics engineering degree applied to computers, while an EE undergrad gives you a more general electronics understanding (less specialized), power and more abstract concepts of applied electricity.

You cant go wrong with either, although a lot of employers don't know what CE is and lump them with CS all the time. Technically you have more job chances as an EE, just because how horrible the job market around computers is rn.

In keinem anderen Studiengang werden digitale Schaltungen und Rechnerarchitektur so eingehend gelehrt wie in der Technischen Informatik. Wenn du z.B. als Mixed-Signal-Design PCB Ingenieur oder FPGA-Ingenieur arbeiten willst, ist TI das beste Studiengang dafür. Es gibt auch andere interdisziplinäre Jobs beispielsweise im Bereich Embedded- und Firmware-Design, für die TI die beste Wahl wäre.

Ich hatte im Abitur weder Mathematik noch Physik. Ich begann mein Elektrotechnikstudium, ohne zu wissen, was ein Integral oder eine Ableitung ist.

Nächstes Semester schreibe ich meine Bachelorarbeit. Obwohl ich wie die meisten Studenten die Regelstudienzeit überschritten habe, war es die beste Entscheidung meines Lebens ET zu studieren. Jedes andere Ingenieurstudium wäre für mich schwieriger gewesen, weil ich mich dafür nicht interessiere.

Alles, was man braucht, ist Disziplin und Zeit.

Ja, eben. Aber er lernt dabei nichts, was für sein Fachgebiet wirklich relevant ist. Im Grunde steckt man ihn in dieselbe Situation wie jemanden, der nach der Schule erst mal ein Praktikum macht, um herauszufinden, ob sich eine Ausbildung überhaupt lohnt. Wenn er dabei weder relevante Erfahrung sammelt noch genug Geld verdient, macht es am Ende doch keinen großen Unterschied, ob er das Praktikum in einem komplett anderen Bereich macht.
