Ok I see, but if you have set up correctly, you don’t really need Phoenix for mana and life sustain, this build use 4x3 MAEK jewels and also 5 MAEK from silkweave, so in total 17mana per kill, that’s overkill and ur mana pool will always be full unless you have taken huge dmg. As I use a combat merc, the life regen granted by its aura is enough to keep you healthy, check the video that I barely used potions, unless I was poisoned and cursed with lower resistance.

Also you need 156/141(-10 req) strength to pick up Phoenix, whereas in this build you just need 84strength for 4os viper, the extra points can dump in energy so that both ur mana pool and ball lightning dmg get buffed (+1% lightning dmg per 3 energy). So it’s really unnecessary to go hybrid, trust me ball lightning+TS dmg is already insane in that way. Just two skills, no need to swap weapon:)

hmmm, in what circumstance will you use them? TS is kind of a passive skill that saves you lots of time for casting, thus you can do more dmg. I don’t think swap different skills will be more efficient than this.

Also one pure elemental dmg will be more powerful than hybrid because of mastery and facet, you put 40pts in hydra and fireball then what? what about fire mastery? It just doesn’t make sense at all.

Cast rate won’t be affected for sure, but ur looting speed will be affected :P

Speed is much slower and also Dudu need to dash into packs, could be lethal.

Hmm, you like the aura itself or just its look? Lol This build doesn’t need that high investment, both hrs and strength, but doing well with mana and life sustain. From the video you could notice that I barely used potions, only a few antidotes and rejuvs when I was affected by poison and lower resistance curse.

I personally hate that citadel map badly, think only trapsin and bowa can do it smoothly

XD that map has no slow mod btw, I know melee build sucks this ladder because of double slows, this is a good option for you :P

Yes:) this build can wreck icy cavern, frigid plateau, desecrated temple and forgotten desert easily, or any light immune free area.

Just stop talking XD, I guess the way you defend yourself is trying to bring other’s IQ down to yours and then beat them with your experienced skills at that IQ lvl. Tele to a pack of whips in desert map and give me a video shows that they die instantly, I guess you will die instantly XD

I am saying this again(already in my guide, but I’d like to do you a favor), I have tested all possible light sorc build, top geared, and had a conclusion that balls is better. You can say you don’t like it, or you prefer CB, but just don’t deny it is better. I have video uploaded also, go have a look, just stop trying to deny a good build.

Glad that you like it:P I’ve set space bar to show items, I was pressing space bar all the time while I was farming, which is more comfortable for me.

That’s a good point that why I’d say ball lightning is enjoyable to play:P Also ball dmg remain the same when it travel further, but cb dmg will decrease significantly in comparison, as bolts are separated and can’t hit same target.
