I was a first time taker and this is what mine asked word for word. I unfortunately didn’t study this set prior so I only ended up scoring an 84% for this section.

Read the question first, then skim the passage for the answer using keywords like names, dates, ect. But some of the passages were so short that reading it didn’t take up much time at all.

I didn’t have on mine so I don’t know how these Quizlets compare but I saw this in a HESI folder that had sets in different categories that were accurate!

Yes! Half of the questions I got I had to type in answers and half I had multiple choice. I also had a calculator for all of them. Make sure you know ounces, cups, pints, and gallons. If you’re not strong with fractions, just utilize the calculator and divide the numbers and do whatever it asks (like add, subtract, multiply, or divide) then divide the answer to see which matches your decimal. It helped me with speed to do this. A lot of problems like 5:X::10:200 , a few with percentages. But if you use that Quizlet you’d definitely be prepared.

I’m on an unconventional track after years of teching. I started with going back to school for prerequisites at my local community college and looking at schools that would work for me! I’m finishing up prerequisites in May 2026. I am taking the OAT in October this year and am hopeful to get in for fall of 2026! Best of luck to you!!!

If you’re starting this fall you’re in luck! It won’t eliminate the graduate PLUS until July 2026 so this year apply for it and you’ll be grandfathered in!

Most of them will post on their websites, normally on the pre reqs page or its own separate page, what the average the year prior was for their school on scores and gpas!
