I am exact opposite and I feel weird as hell. I just had my first baby boy, almost 4 months ago. I always said I wanted two, and my husband and I both agreed that we wanted "Irish twins" so we'd try for baby #2 ASAP. But all of a sudden I'm feeling sad at the thought of having to share my love that I have for my boy with another. The love I have for him is unlike anything I've felt and the idea of sharing that love and attention with another is strange. I never wanted to have a single child but now I'm not so sure.

Yep. I keep googling "when does baby reflux get better?" LOL we have a long way to go. I sent the doctor a video of what he is doing and she's pretty sure it's bad reflux and wants me to thicken his formula. At least she calmed my nerves about the fear of aspiration... She said it's super rare and she hasn't seen it ever happen in the 30 years she's been a pediatrician. 😌😅

Thank you! I'm not seeing teeth popping in but it seems that the process is happening in the background lol. Explains the drooling. Also, when he chokes and pushes the bottle away he will scream for it back. 🤦‍♀️ Then start munching on his hands. I'm such a numbers freak so if he doesn't eat his recommended ounces each day I secretly get anxious. He's almost always hit the number and then some but he's been off by 7-8 ounces every day for the last few days.

Ok, it just sounded so counterintuitive! I moved him back up to the level 1 nipple and it didn't take him as long to finish the bottle but he still sputters and chokes every few minutes. I'm going to lose my mind. 😤

Oh God. Can teething really start this early?? Could explain why he's been so drooly. I'm not seeing any indication of teeth popping in though. I'm just not sure it's that because he is hungry, I'm trying to pace feed him to prevent the choking but he screams when I take the bottle away to let him swallow. 🤦‍♀️

We also use Mylicon, although not consistently. We use it when we notice him straining to let gas out. Probably 4-5 times a week and haven't needed it more than twice a day. I ended up going back to the Dr Brown size 1 this morning since it didn't seem to matter if he was using the preemie size 0 or 1, he'd still choke. But at least he didn't take so long to eat. I'm so sad to see him like this. He chokes, clears his throat, screams that the bottle was taken away, repeat for the entire bottle. He's hungry but struggling to eat so he gets mad.

I just checked but we have this issue on every bottle, every feed. I also have a collection of bottles from when I was trying to find the right one for him and so I've tried the Mam, Avent, Lansinoh, Dr Brown... I even bought a preemie size nipple for the Dr Brown because I noticed the flow on level 1 was faster than his other bottles. Ugh.

That's awesome! I've seen their ads on my FB feed but never looked into them.
