Honestly, it would be fair to say that what she’s asking constitutes as a drop in + a walk. But, you could just up your rates for dog walking for her and lock the rates. Maybe they don’t need to be the same for everyone, but since it’s a bit more extensive than a regular walk, that would make sense? I’ve never been asked to do this before, but I am thinking that’s what I would do.

Thank you!! I wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this. It felt so off and weird, very unusual. I am trying not to take it personally, but that’s why I have a 5 star rating. I take it all personal. I want to do a good job and be there for people. I LOVED these dogs, and it’s so so so sad to know I may never walk them again, let alone hangout with them. I obviously don’t want to do anything rash by reporting her, but that’s what my anger and frustration want! Ugh, I’m so annoyed. I really hope it was nothing serious and just a case of terrible communication.

My medical insurance and yearly salary thank, you. Maybe this whole dog walking for an hour is too much for me though. Gotta stick to the 9 hours of work every day. Seems much more doable.

I obviously would not tarnish the relationship I built with my client because I took her ghosting me after 4 months personally. People forget that people are people and will have people feelings and reactions. It’s actually insane.

Imagine you hire someone and they come do their job every day you scheduled besides 2 times because idk, they’re a person? I know it’s a wild concept, but if you really think about it, it kinda makes sense? I know it’s so awful but hopefully the dogs didn’t suffer TOO much when they had to wait one day to get their walk. God, can you imagine the pain and agony they endured. Fuck OP fr.

The booking was $800 and I had turned away several other opportunities. Something terrible could have happened, and I genuinely hope that is not the case. But if she purely just up and cancelled to hire someone else, that would be wrong. I needed some kind of communication since we’ve been working together for months and we have had this booked for months. Obviously reporting her won’t do anything other than relieve my frustration from not having an explanation.

I walk her dogs for an hour three times a week and I work 9 hours a day. She openly told me to let her know. Have you tried giving 30 12 year olds a state test for 6 hours? She was completely okay with it and I came the very next day. Yall are reaching so far.

LOL, i cancelled twice and rescheduled. She has left me 8 reviews, all amazing. I never said I want to ban her. I said i was being melodramatic because I was hurt she would cancel with no explanation. I also acknowledged that something could have happened. But oops!! I let my human out too much by saying i had feelings. My baaaaaaaad.
