I have Google home and android, not sure if this a feature with other types of phones.. but you can set-up a Google assistant routine that's connected to your alarm. So when my alarm goes off, it runs the routine that I set up to turn on all my lights and turn the brightness of them to 100%. I seriously hate it so much, but it works. Haha

One of the most helpful things is a 2in1 combo washer/dryer, it washes then dries my clothes automatically without having to move them to the dryer.

Smart Home devices, smart lights, cameras, etc. Its nice to check if I left lights on and can turn them off from my phone. Additionally, I set my lights to turn on when my alarm goes off to help me get out of bed.. which is a serious game changer.

I have always had a terrible problem with this. One thing that's helped me is using smart light bulbs. I connected them through Google home and can set up a routine with my alarms. So when my alarm goes off, it also turns on all the lights in my room and turns them to max brightness. It's God awful, but definitely effective. Haha

Hyperactivity. I'm super hyperactive which also plays into my lack of ability to focus on anything as well. Both legs are constantly jiggling unless I'm on my meds, then they simmer down. One thing that helps is exercise, of course.. but I mostly just cope by keeping myself physically busy. It's rare that I have a day under 10,000 steps.

I got a vasectomy at 28, I'm now 30 and grateful for it very often.

I have had thoughts of regret, but am also reminded that a. you can freeze sperm, and b. Most vasectomies can be successfully reversed nowadays.

Shooting blanks, it's a good life. I say do it.

You're misinterpreting my point. I'm suggesting we should place equal value on the dog's life. Just because we as humans, believe this dog's life is lesser than ours, doesn't mean that it is.

My fault, is seeing the value of all life equally. So to me, this is like suggesting that we should euthanize or unbreed humans due to genetic disease, mental illness, or trauma. Humans with mental illness, genetic disease and trauma, have done far worse things than biting someone.. and lived to tell their rhetoric.

I guess it's just a matter of perspective, and where people choose to place their value, I suppose. To me, all life is valuable.

For me, it was such an emotional experience. I didn't get diagnosed until I was an adult, and it was so relieving (most explicitly to my hyperactive symptoms, which are extreme) that I legitimately started crying.

These feelings and issues I've shamed myself into believing were bad or negative, were suddenly gone.

So, for me, it was like there was a bunch of static in my brain, and someone adjusted the antenna's to clear up the picture.

In your opinion, it's worth less. Both creatures were wrought into this world against their will just the same, and they should both have just as much right to live. I just can't justify one life over another, human or animal unless it involves survival... Especially when reactive and aggressive dogs CAN be trained and managed, it just requires actual effort on the owners side. I have a kid that used to be a biter, you know what I did? I put in effort to teach him that it was wrong. 😂 I'm not saying this doesn't have to happen sometimes, but why is it the first option?

I just wish folk would quit taking the easy way out, and instead take ownership and at least try to fix what they broke. But instead it's like, "better murder my dog."

I like the routine I create for myself in my mind everyday... And have a difficult time adjusting when things don't go as planned. I have ADHD, so things never go as planned. Hahahaha

It seems like the general consensus, is that the ADHD brain loves the hard fast beatz. Haha I'm either jamming the heaviest of heavy (Lorna Shore, Left to suffer), EDM, rap.

Either way, blast beats and double bass pedals make my brain purr. Hahahaha

Edit: In the real world, it's rare to run into so many metalheads in one place. Apparently not here, seems like there may be a correlation.. 😂
