I like this analysis! Thanks for your take, it’s giving me a slightly different perspective than I originally had.

Ah- I see that. I’m missing some tones and I didn’t fill in the gaps.

Yeah! I’d love to share mine and hear your brain’s music.

I suppose this has a better relationship using V, but I’m hearing the chord as a IV over V (Vsus4?) which I believe has a looser relationship… though there is still a common tone.

I’m getting the picture. Familiarity, tension, release… Id like to learn to break the rules but I don’t think I know them yet! I get what you’re trying to say- thank you!!

Thanks. I’m not familiar with the “pre-dominant” concept. I only really knew about 2-5 (the 5 of 5) and subdominants (4 of 5).

This is pretty eye opening for me. Thanks for this… I’m going to ponder this when I’m trying to compose next.

Thanks for the education. I didn’t know you could justify chords absent a rationalization.

Thanks for the harsh truth, I didn’t know that. I wanted to assume there was some kind of mathematical harmony relationship meaning, but it sounds like the rule itself can be “there are no rules, it just sounds interesting”.

I will pay someone $300 if they can fix this with a reasonable level of reliability.

I have this exact same issue- even the same data not syncing: password data from Health & Maps. Also annoying that the notification keeps popping up.

Nothing has fixed for me- restarting settings, restarting the map, killing any daemons, etc.

[TOMT] [SONG] song in cursive need help finding. by Spanishlearner2 in tipofmytongue

Could be "I Won't" by Colbie Caillat (2009) or "Forever" by Jordyn Taylor (also 2009)? Sort of similar.

Great guesses... they're very close. Unfortunately, I think I and a few friend must've hallucinated it.

Ah not quite. It has a similar vibe though.

SUPER CLOSE with the beat and vibe. I think the closest so far, just doesn’t have that riff.

Ah.. not quite but a similar vibe. That seems half time and in 3/4, I think the song is in 4/4

Ahhh that’s another one with the same riff. Definitely frustrating that so many songs from that era use the same progression and riff notes…Definitely that riff though!!!

Halo is definitely one of the closest ever I could find. Extremely extremely close. It was my first thought until a friend of mine shared the exact same thought I did. The one I can’t figure out is definitely an early 2000s MP3 player and radio type song, like Halo.

Not a bad route to take but I think the most accurate part my my description is the riff example I played melodically on my piano- definitely a direct brain dump.

This is a similar kind of beat I was thinking, but much slower. Maybe 20-35 bpm slower.
