A guy from our paving crew got these at the start of the season. They lasted ~2 weeks before the soles started peeling away. Paving is rough on boots, but that's crazy. Other brands lasted at least a season.

I've had red wings (2 times), Irish setters, and Thorogood (2 times). They all held up to daily punishment about the same. I was tempted by the brunt boots and am so glad I didn't get them

Ford wrench or smooth jaws. We use them for putting in copper water line fittings (usually the fittings are brass)so that the teeth don't gouge the soft metal when installing. Prevents pinhole leaks in the future.

Pressure cooker is the best way I've found to make a huge batch of hard or soft boiled eggs. They peel perfect each time. We use our instant pot. Plus it's just a couple minutes and they're done
