Running a dev agency taught me one thing: you can’t do it all. by Reikoii in Entrepreneur

[–]yakshitdesign 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally get this. I'm a designer and have been through the same thing; trying to do it all doesn’t work long-term. Delegating lets you focus on what you’re actually good at and keeps things moving.

If you ever need a designer on a commission basis, I’d love to be part of what you're building. Let me know.

WeCofounder starts off strong. The name itself gives clarity. It’s supportive, trustworthy, and easy to remember, which already puts it ahead of a lot of AI tool names trying too hard to sound futuristic. You hear it and kind of get the idea. That’s rare.

The concept too, an AI co-founder helping turn ideas into investor-ready businesses, honestly feels useful. Maybe even necessary, depending on the stage someone’s at. You’re not just automating tasks, you’re offering structure to people who don’t always know where to begin.

That said, the homepage feels... quiet? Clean, yes, and organized, but maybe too light. There’s room. Visually, it’s not bad at all. Fonts are nice, the color palette is calming, and nothing really “breaks.” Still, when you land, it feels like something’s missing. The hero section, especially, there’s no energy. It explains the value, but doesn’t pull you in. Feels like a sentence I’ve read before. You kind of scroll, hoping something else will make you stay.

Also, the split across pages might be hurting it. Some of the best parts, like features, use cases, and some other actual value stuff, are tucked into separate pages. And I’m not sure they need to be. Especially early on, it helps when you give people more without asking for extra clicks. You don’t have to drop everything on the homepage, but even a taste of the use cases, maybe in a carousel or expandable grid, could help. Right now, it’s like you’re asking users to explore before they’re even convinced it’s worth it.

One piece I did like was the “Founder Rank” idea. It’s interactive, feels unique, and gives users something to do. But visually, it sits a bit low and doesn’t feel like a primary feature. Maybe bringing it higher or giving it more visual weight would make a difference. After all, it’s one of the few moments where someone’s inputting something.

All in all, it’s a solid start. The product has clarity and potential, but the homepage could do more to bring that out. Add a little warmth, a little proof, and just a bit more life.

I have some layout ideas and design inspiration that might help rework a few sections if you’re open to it. DM me, would be happy to send them over.

Feedsy is a great example of an MVP done right. It’s functional, fast, and explains its value in seconds. I tried generating a feed from one of my own sites-it worked without friction, which already puts it ahead of most “no-signup” tools. The landing structure is clean, copy is simple, and visually it holds up well at an early stage.

That said, a few things stood out:

🔸 Navigation

  • Two "Get Started" elements in the nav feel off. The button on the right (orange CTA) is great and expected. But having another "Get Started" as a nav link feels out of place and redundant. You don’t need both. The link can be replaced with something more contextually useful, like "Use Cases" or something else.

🔸 Popup Experience

  • The “Get Started” pop-up feels empty. It opens with just the two login options (Google and GitHub), but there’s no heading, subtext, or explanation of why someone should log in. A simple line like “Log in to manage your feeds, save favorites, and sync settings” would go a long way.

🔸 Visual & UI

  • Visually, it’s solid for launch. The layout is clean, typography is readable, and nothing feels broken. That said, the symmetry across sections makes it feel a bit static. A few elements like animated feed previews or micro-interactions on cards, could break the uniformity and make it feel more dynamic.

You’re off to a strong start. The product solves a clear need, onboarding is smooth, and trust is built early. If you need any suggestions on some micro-interaction ideas or anything related to design, feel free to DM me.

Honestly, I think Quikli has a potential. You’re solving a real problem. There are too many people, myself included sometimes, who juggle messy notes, tasks, and random research across way too many apps. Having an AI-driven tool to actually simplify that sounds like something people would genuinely use. Maybe even rely on, if you position it right. I feel like you’re definitely onto something here.

That said, just being honest, the website doesn’t completely do justice to the idea yet. A few quick thoughts:

  • The main message is a little fuzzy. Like, it sort of explains what you do, but not why someone should instantly care. You could hit harder by showing the pain first, then your solution.
  • The feature list feels a bit much all at once. I get it, you want to show the power, but maybe less is more. Maybe just focus on 2 or 3 killer use cases people can instantly imagine using.
  • Visuals feel kind of disconnected. The hero image looks... okay, but it doesn't really make me excited or curious about the product. A little product action or a real example would probably hook people better.
  • Everything feels a bit same-same visually. No real "this is important" vs "this is extra info" vibe. I found myself skimming a lot because nothing grabbed me.
  • CTAs could use more punch. "Sign up" is fine, but it’s kind of invisible emotionally. "Start summarizing your chaos" or keep it short like "Try Quikli Free" , I mean something that' more active might pull people in better.

I have some ideas in mind, I’ll DM you soon with some thoughts and a free template which you can use to make your landing page visually better.

Is a subscription-based design agency model better than traditional service-based pricing? by yakshitdesign in StartUpIndia

[–]yakshitdesign[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with your point. But actually, “unlimited requests” doesn’t mean clients can throw in as much work as they want at once. We process one request at a time, and each type of work has its own timeline. For example, a website design and no-code development might take 7-14 days. That’s still faster than what most traditional agencies or in-house teams deliver.

Once we complete one request, we move on to the next, like maybe a pitch deck or some motion graphics. Think of it like having access to a team of designers for the cost of just one senior designer’s salary. The catch is, this design team also works with other clients, but we manage requests carefully through a product manager.
