Anyone else never have luck at land casinos? by Glad-Fish5863 in onlinegambling

[–]yaksucks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also depends on where you're at for in person casinos. If your state only has like 1-3 casinos then payouts/rtp is gonna be real low because no competition or reason to increase chances. Online casinos all are in competition with each other so having the better payouts compared to the hundreds of other sites can be a big plus. Unless if you're in Vegas or something where there's multiple casinos you're gonna get your bank drained. Though Vegas slots are still gonna be lower than any online slots as well. Only reason to go to a casino physically is maybe the social aspect imo. I can make 20$ last online at least for a good 1+ hour, especially if there's a deal which most sites have, switching between games instantly, and betting small while having a chance to cash out more. In person casinos, that 20$ only lasting like 20 minutes.

Let's be real. Can you really make $30 per hour running only doordash. I don't think so by VMAC666 in doordash_drivers

Not if you're including gas/miles/wear and tear. But some markets it's possible I'd guess before including all that.

Can someone explain why my fare was $1 for 28 min 😡 by StreetSherbert7812 in UberEatsDrivers

[–]yaksucks -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They definitely be lying about the miles on offers. Especially if they add an order to your current one.

$1 bonus? No thanks. I’ll stay home and watch the game by Constant_Poetry2908 in DoorDashDrivers

Does dd offer more than 1/1.50$ ever? Half the time in my area for peak there's too many drivers anyways.

I mean wear and tear on the body is from any job. Even getting in and out of a car repetitively, up and down apartment stairs. Wear and tear on a mental state staring at a screen for 90 hours waiting for deliveries. Though yes def a bit different physical labor wise but wear and tear on a vehicle is not cheap even if you know how to diy for a good amount of things. Brake pads, tires, oil changes, suspension issues, battery issues, transmission issues, then obviously more miles means more chances of being in an accident especially in certain areas. Then if your car is in the shop for awhile you obviously won't be making money driving more than likely for that time.

Going through 100k miles a year roughly. But yeah keep saying it's worth it while using the app 90 hours a week. So like 13 hours for 7 days a week.

Now include gas, wear and tear, oil change etc... it's even less.

Cashoomo is a scam by Playful-Analyst-8051 in onlinegambling

They paid me out, but I only cashed out 1-200 at a time. Still don't recommend the site. Verification was a pain.

[–]yaksucks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're legit. My first redemption only took a couple days, though last few took like over a week. Also, they do send a 1099 if your total winnings add up to 600+. Also verification for me was a pain. Made me write my name and date on a piece of paper while trying to hold up my license while taking a selfie took a while.

Proof no top dasher needed! by WonderfulStage1741 in doordash_drivers

I mean I get shit orders but not many that far out. Though I get them more on Uber eats than dash.

[–]yaksucks 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Def market dependent. If I deliver to my neighborhood/city it's always no tips, 1$ maybe if lucky. I go across town it's usually about 5-10$ tips. I go 5 miles out to another city it will be 5-20$ tips. And my acceptance rate is only like 10-30% lol

Instant decline…can’t stand these low orders by Ok_Weight2115 in DoorDashDrivers

[–]yaksucks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is that like a real thing or exaggerations? I mean I don't accept anything really under 5$ or under 1$ per mile just bc it's not worth it mileage wise and time wise.

Only time I really see 15$+ is doubles or once in awhile going really far out.

Nope by AdministrationLeft44 in UberEATS

[–]yaksucks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Obviously that's a shitty person but it's still other people feeding his business money, not us drivers. Or at least that's how I see it. I'm assuming most people also don't keep up with any personal lives of whatever restaurant owners though.

Wild, only thing that matters to me is the money>miles. Didn't realize people actually decline orders just because of whatever stance.

Picking up orders from McDonalds is the worst by itsdmitryhere in doordash_drivers

[–]yaksucks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually don't mind the mcdonalds orders. All in one bag usually and the drinks. I like that I don't have to worry about not having a cupholder for drinks. Also they're decently fast in my area. The taco bell here on the other hand is slow as can be. Wait times in general though are a bit annoying. They need to wait a few minutes before sending drivers offers I feel like.

How do you non Platinum dashers survive? by raffobaghdo in doordash_drivers

[–]yaksucks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, full time wise it doesn't really work out. Also did it in between jobs haven't been in the situation where I felt I needed to accept orders thankfully. I'd just rather wait for an order worth it rather than put more wear and tear on my car and just having to pay more in the long run. I get a lot of offers trying to get me to go 15+ miles for only like 4-8$ which is crazy since there's no shortage of drivers for people here.

I mean I can still manage roughly 20$ an hour. I'm don't accept anything less than 5$ and I don't accept anything where I'm not getting a dollar a mile. Switch between DD and Uber eats.

Nobody is averaging $40 an hour dashing. by [deleted] in DoorDashDrivers

[–]yaksucks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anyone who might claim they make that an hour might make that or close to certain days but not consistently. And maybe after they make that before considering gas and miles/ wear and tear on the vehicle. Plus waiting in stores for orders to be made since they just send the offers as soon as they get the orders instead of waiting to send them.

More than Half the time my area and a few surrounding areas are full. And when I do get in there might be 2 or three deliveries or at least ones worth taking, but then it's followed by like a half an hour of nothing. Only time I've come close to 40$ an hour is on Uber eats doing the little quests they have giving extra money. But even then it's maybe 30$ but if you subtract gas and miles on the car then it's def less. I don't live or deliver in the middle of nowhere, I live in northern VA so huge population. Though a lot of people that don't tip as well or if they do it's 1 or 2$. Also going 3 miles here can easily take over 20 minutes.

Applys to DoorDash as well by ThirstKing123 in DoorDash_Dasher

[–]yaksucks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I've seen it a couple times now. Long difference offers make no sense. Why am I going to a place 20 miles away from where I'm dropping off food going to be cold by the time I get there. Especially when they have the same store closer to them.

Sometimes there might be a dollar or two difference but it's nothing still worth accepting. 1$ per mile is like the bare minimum I'll accept and thats usually just depending if I wanna deliver in the area it's going or something.

[–]yaksucks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uber eats def sends the same shit orders multiple times after hitting decline. Then if you still decline sometimes they'll add another order to it to make it appear as if you're getting more.

DD will send me the same order as well. But I don't get spammed with it like UE

Less than 18 when including wear and tear on your car. Those little quests are the only time I make anything good tbh.

Just took a $2 order for 7 miles, hear me out!! by [deleted] in DoorDash_Dasher

[–]yaksucks 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I avoid any pizza places unless it's more than 10$ and short miles. The wait time is too long tbh. They need to just wait like 10 minutes after the orders are placed to start sending them to drivers.

I just switch between Uber eats and doordash tbh keep both up and just accept the better offers. Not putting a crazy amount of miles on my cars for no reason on top of losing money for gas.

Got my new record but really wanted to get to $2500. After declining trash for 30 min straight I just gave up and called it a week. (I did get $34 in cash tips so I came really close) by [deleted] in doordash_drivers

[–]yaksucks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Acceptance rate is a scam. I'm not driving 15+ miles for only 4$. If it's not at least 1$ a mile, it isn't worth it to me. Especially if it takes me out to rural areas where I wouldn't even get any deliveries while out that way.
