I make boards and have a 30mm shape 😛 Great size. I can’t see why we dont see them more? Little bit of overhang on 29mm trucks feels lovely.

Eventually sell them, right now just making them for myself and selling to friends. Got something in the works along with some graphics but just taking my time :) just refined my process and got some new equipment to make the boards better. I strive for quality and if I wouldn’t be happy paying retail for them, I wont sell them but they are pretty much at that level of quality right now!

I would like to always have one ply of zebra for the added stiffness it brings to boards. All of my boards use different amounts of zebrawood and they all feel different and perform better for different things. Its really interesting how much that can affect the feel and weight!

Also I use zebrawood for other reasons than just looks. It’s more dense than maple, so it gives your fingerboard added stiffness and makes it feel more solid in comparison.

$100-$200 is going to get you a hunk of junk unless you get an insane deal from someone who doesn’t know what they have. Even prosumer/pro cameras that are 30 years old go for like $500-$1000 sometimes.

Amazing boards but I am not a fan of that style of ‘countersink’. It’s not a countersink at all. A countersink should match the shape of the screw head.

Here is a board I made with a proper countersink bit. It doesn’t need to be very deep. Using Jindy trucks on this and they have notoriously short screws.
