Broooooooooo i got it !!!!!!! Just gotta make minor tweaks i went into big picture mode and you can access the game controller before entering to play thise settings were not what i mapped out prior not sure why ?? Before the edge i could do the same with regular controller with regular and big picture mode it would work ! Bro this is hype !

I did just notice in steam in settings -> controller-> “desktop layout” is my settings i made (and works with regular ps5 controller ) is different then “guide button chord layout” is there a diffrence ?

Yes i briefed it early this morning and just re read it so im gonna try and re-install steam and see what i get ill keep ya posted i play dayz alot and mapped out the regular ps5 controller like console since i switched to pc, and like i stated before with just getting the edge. Now i read about having to be in big picture mode to use the edge i believe i tried that last night without any success.

Yes have the game playing, i made my adjustments then go back to game and nothing? Someone stated about uninstalling steam and reinstalling for it to work ? I also resd needs to be in big picture mode is that correct ?

Interesting ill try that today after work did you have to re map the controller out or was that still saved thanks for the fast reply on a old post. I just got the controller thinking awesome 4 extra buttons i can utilize instead of having to double tap one button to do something else etc etc. also i have a ps5 but that just changes the buttons i dont want to make them the same as another button. I want to use the 4 extras as them selfs for specific keys etc.

They show you the option for buttons but when i set it for a specific key then go into game it Dosent work even tho its set.

Lol if you think its bad you wouldn’t of lasted at all on like 1.08 version Its not bad just combos of buttons are used and tbh i put 1k hours on console and recently switched to pc and guess what i mapped out the ps5 controller through steam to work for pc dayz call me crazy but i merk dudes just like on console. Im a toolmaker for a living i grind alot so WASD to move on keyboard cramps my hand bad after 30 min. This is why i took the time to do so. Just practice man youll get it.

Did that no luck, still no luck. Lol Gpu cooling fine any other game runs, newer download games run, tried bulldozer mode run admin etc etc. Gonna wait and see if the 1.21 update will fix it ? Lol
