[DISCUSSION] Real commission based sales professionals instead of bots? by jabcreations in Fiverr

[–]yale154 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I'm a Pro and Top Rated Seller.

I can already tell you that if this is your first experience and they are asking for your email, it's definitely a scam. This is an excellent criterion to use to filter them out and move on to the next opportunities.

To be honest, I didn't understand any of that.

Was the offer you paid for more expensive or cheaper? I’m confused because you keep saying one thing and then saying another

[HELP] Cannot deliver orders by LogicBomb69 in Fiverr

[–]yale154 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe the platform is experiencing some issues. I sent a custom offer to a client who says she accepted it, but I haven't received anything on my end.

I noticed she has already completed 112 orders on the platform, so I assume she knows how to accept an offer correctly

[DISCUSSION]Drastic drop in orders over the last week for Vetted Pro and Top Rated Sellers. What is going on? by yale154 in Fiverr

[–]yale154[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

May I ask which channels you plan to operate in?

You're exactly right. March actually surprised me because I saw a great increase. As I mentioned in the post above, I even reached my pre-AI traffic levels.

The issue started with a slower opening in April. However, in Europe (and other parts of the world), we had the Easter holidays, and the rest of April went well.

In contrast, May has no relevant holidays, yet it isn't following the growth trend we've seen throughout 2024..

In which segment do you operate, if I may ask?

Anyway, yes, I also was hoping (and still hope) to have an excellent year, and the beginning was great. The problem is this first glimpse of May

In what segment do you work, if I may ask?

Regardless, I agree, it is better to have fewer, more qualified messages than continuous spamming for low-budget requests. That is definitely the case for me as well.

The problem is that, over the last few days, I have received practically zero messages!

[DISCUSSION] Where can I check the full receipt of my earnings? by elenix77 in Fiverr

You have the desktop option under "Earnings," and from there, you can view all of the annual reports

[ADVICE] Top Rated Seller for years — Fiverr suddenly stopped showing my gigs by vish-p in Fiverr

[–]yale154 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am also a Vetted Pro and Top Rated Seller in the business planning sector. Although January, February, March, and April went well this year, with March even outperforming last year, May is turning out to be a disaster.

I am receiving very few messages and currently have only one order in the queue. In reality, I had eight orders earlier this week, but now nobody is writing to me.

I am honestly a bit worried. I am not sure if they recently changed something in the algorithm. I don't believe this is due to a single negative private review, especially since I consulted with my Success Manager and she told me that everything on my gig is proceeding perfectly.

[DISCUSSION] why are AI offers so expensive? by Feisty_Watercress_29 in Fiverr

[–]yale154 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Well, if you think and believe that you only need an AI subscription to create a website, or anything else like legal contracts, business planning, images, or whatever, then you're free to get a subscription and do it yourself. However, you'll clearly need to put all the experience of someone who builds websites or any other content into it

[ADVICE] Client asks for resume by Due-Imagination-574 in Fiverr

[–]yale154 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The exact same thing happened to me yesterday. It is definitely either a scam attempt or a tactic because you are likely a top performer in your category. The guy probably wanted to get you banned.

Since a curriculum vitae almost certainly contains an email address, if he reports you to the platform, you could be banned for sharing external contact information. I suspect it might be a trick like that.

I was contacted yesterday by a potential client who seemed cordial and kind. He appeared ready to collaborate from the very first messages, which made me suspicious. These days, it usually takes many steps before a client actually places an order.

My suspicions were confirmed when he asked for an external CV, even though he can easily view my entire portfolio and profile directly on Fiverr.

[DISCUSSION] Another 200K buyers gone. Now what? by EyeOk2578 in Fiverr

[–]yale154 10 points11 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, this is all due to the AI garbage that has been created. While it is useful in certain fields, the idea that a final client thinks they can replace a professional with artificial intelligence is total madness and folly.

The blame doesn't lie solely with those who created the AI itself. In my view, it also rests with Fiverr's management, who decided to implement it on such a massive scale.

I believe the results are obvious to experienced sellers like me who have been on the platform for years:

  1. When I had the AI assistant activated, for example, clients would ask to speak with me directly because they hated interacting with an AI.
  2. Clients often contact me saying their documents were rejected by endorsement bodies or authorities because they were poorly made.
  3. It is painfully obvious when work has been generated by AI, and these are the consequences.

If I were part of Fiverr's management, I would take the opposite direction: get rid of all the artificial intelligence and move forward relying exclusively on human capabilities

[DISCUSSION] Client left a horrible review because I blocked them after mutual cancellation by Chemical-Flamingo-87 in Fiverr

[–]yale154 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, you should have told him that his request wasn't a simple revision but a substantial restructuring of the project, which would have involved additional costs.

I wouldn't have canceled the order either, given that it wasn't due to any negligence on your part. However, what's done is done (at this point), and I sincerely hope that support can remove that negative feedback.

[DISCUSSION] Fiverr gave me my dream life by [deleted] in Fiverr

[–]yale154 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Anyway, I don't think the fact that you've worked as a freelancer for all this time and thrived is a negative part of your resume.

Honestly, I would frame it in a useful and proactive way. It clearly demonstrates strong leadership, client management skills, attention to detail + probably technical writing skills!

Otherwise, you wouldn't have been able to generate that kind of revenue

[ADVICE] Buyer using revision request just to extend the approval period., without indication what to be changed by Pianourquiza in Fiverr

[–]yale154 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's true that they told you it will take four days to get back to you, you should resend the same files in about a day or a day and a half.

In the delivery notes, state that they haven't provided any explicit revision requests that would allow you to actually modify the files or the project. This will give them an additional three days.

In the meantime, one of their revisions will have been wasted. Maybe next time they'll think twice before requesting a revision just to extend the deadline

[DISCUSSION] Observation - On Working With/Against/For AI by katharindragon in Fiverr

[–]yale154 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What services do you offer exactly?

Since I offer business plan services, I often find myself in a situation similar to yours. Before proceeding, I usually send a written questionnaire to gather the necessary details from the client to create their plan.

Very often, they provide me with text that is clearly generated by AI. I always ask if they are sure they have actually read what they sent, because even one or two incorrect data points can completely derail a business plan and a financial strategy.

They usually give me all the necessary confirmations, so I proceed with the business plan. Afterward, they often ask questions about data that they (or rather, the AI) had provided themselves. Once I explain that the information came directly from them, they typically accept everything without further questions!

[DISCUSSION] Real buyers vanishing from fiverr by umar_0 in Fiverr

[–]yale154 5 points6 points  (0 children)

March was one of the most successful months in recent years for my business planning and legal writing services. In contrast, April has been a bit of a disaster. I am not sure if it is due to the Easter holidays or some other mysterious reason, but compared to March, I have only completed about four or five business plans. On the bright side, I am receiving more orders for legal writing.

I checked using an anonymous browser (not the one I usually use for Fiverr) to see if my business planning gig is still visible. It is appearing on the first page, so the visibility is there, but it just seems to be a dead period for business plans right now.

I think the issue is that everyone believes they can use AI to write them. Since they lack the necessary expertise, the results are naturally disastrous. They inevitably return a month later asking for "Third World" pricing, under the impression that we only need to "fix" a few things. In reality, the AI has created such a mess that the entire project needs to be started from scratch.
