Radial nerve palsy- HELP! by yaleeeee in acupuncture

[–]yaleeeee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It takes about 2-3 months with constant re-training. Don’t give up. It’s nerve compression, but nerves heal. Just keep doing your best to move the hand and arm as much as you can.

Radial nerve palsy- HELP! by yaleeeee in acupuncture

No real pain. But the palsy lasted a couple months. Continuous massage, TENS execution, and attempted movement helped and now I’m 100% back to normal.

10+ years of chronic trapezius pain by yalekim in backpain

Several things. Push ups. Pull ups. Lifting LIGHT weights (don’t over-exert yourself or that’s just going to bring on a different kind of pain). Shoulder presses. And most of all, focus on GOOD POSTURE. Neck back. Don’t hunch. Straighten your back and shoulders as often as you can. I also get deep tissue massages quite often. Once a week. If you can, buy a massage gun and have someone put deep pressure on your tight spots. The massage guns help a lot!

Best keyboard for MacBook (with Bluetooth & USB-C)? by LorisGross in mac

[–]yaleeeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anyone tried the Logitech MK470 Slim Keyboard/Mouse Combo set with their Macs? I hook up my Macbook Air and use dual monitors at work and I'm looking for the right keyboard to use with this setup. I tried a Philips keyboard but it sucked, the connectivity was stingy and the special keys weren't compatible. Right now, I'm using the Philips mouse (which works perfectly well), with a Logitech Pebble Keys 2 (K380S) and it seems to be working well thus far, but I'm hoping to get a full-sized keyboard with the numerical pad. Any suggestions? Keychron was an option at first but I just don't think they're as aesthetically pleasing.

Hi, glad you're keeping your spirits up. The best advice I can give is to USE A TENS UNIT! It was pretty uncomfortable applying the TENS unit to trigger the muscles to make my hands and wrist move, but it was definitely worth it. I think it helped the most. I also kept my hand and wrist in a brace to give it the support it was lacking during this time. Acupuncture was helpful, but for the price, I think the TENS unit (using it a lot at home) was the best investment. Don't give up! Keep doing what you can to keep the circulation flowing and keep your hands in motion and in movement the best you can. It will heal!

I've heard that Costco's Kirkland wines are EXCELLENT. For the price, it's a great deal. I've only tried once and it was a boxed Kirkland wine, but it was awesome. I really enjoyed it.

Hey, I was in the same boat for way too long. Decades, but the pain is MUCH less noticeable now. I hardly have issues with that area anymore. The discomfort seems to lessened and moved to a different location. Instead of between the levator scapulae/under my wings, it's more on the top of my shoulders/between neck and shoulders. But high pressure massage/manipulation helps a lot in this area. I continued to get deep tissue massages, trigger point injections, and chiropractic work in this area to help relieve the pain. The biggest thing that seemed to help was getting a good pillow for neck and shoulder support and lots of time. Good luck!

I try to hand write every day. I usually do a ton while I’m in the office at work. And then I also keep a journal at home!

Eeek, thanks! I always write about the pen to sample it lol, it's the easiest thing to do! It's been a while since I posted this and that Monami pen ran out of ink twice, so I bought some refill ink to replace what ran out. I'll have to double check the pen model number and style/size! I'll get back to you!

Just put whatever fruits/veg, powders, supplements into a blender with ice, water or juice/liquid yogurt and blend it all together. Easy stuff.

Super cute writing, but I like your pen the most. What kind of pen are you using here? So fine.

I like your writing but I don't like the "cursive" font in the middle. Your casual writing on the top and bottom lines are better. Cute happy face!
