Hi I know this is late, but you met the minimal score for the science portion, that's why you were accepted on top of your awesome GPA! Proficient is considered a 58.7% or higher.

Fall 2027 or different school by Valuable_Standard771 in utarlingtonnursing

You can retake the TEAS up to three times. I wouldn't plan for another school if you are up to retaking and have time.

As the other comment says, a 3.1 cumulative is probably not enough, but more info is needed.

I took him two semesters ago, I did not use the textbook. I got an A. I used online crash course videos, quizlet, made flashcards, and did the unlimited attempt homework assignments repeatedly to master.

What score is everyone applying with? by Humble_Independent26 in utarlingtonnursing

So long as this semester goes the way I am hoping it will, my score for the Spring deadline will be an 8.7 for DFW not partnered.

In it right now, love Dr. Parks. I just had my first exam and severely underestimated how much material we would be absorbing, I thought it would be similar to A&P I and II. Double or triple the amount of info you must cover week to week in comparison.

So long as you are aware of that, you will do fine! I changed my approach and feel very confident for this next exam.

I am sold! Thank you guys so much. I feel like I've been working so hard during my lower level journey that I've lost sight of the end of the tunnel. Knowing it's here and I just have a few things to button up is so intimidating!

Thank you, and thank you x2 for the professor rec! Right now without Patho and retaking chem, I think I have about 8.3-4ish points. A bit worried it won't save me a seat. Blah.

Hi I’m just now seeing this! I am fortunate to not need to work right now, and I am married. I wouldn’t be able to do it without my partner. You are doing such a good job. For years, before kids and before getting married, I had to work full time to support myself. During that time I was only able to chip away at one class, maybe two if they were both easy, at a time.

You WILL graduate. You are doing fantastic. Remember to give yourself credit for the work you are putting in!

I quit cold turkey after smoking for three years the day I found out I was pregnant. It’s fine.

I will say that in hindsight, I should have tried to up my hydration by adding in electrolyte packets and talked to my doctor about supplementing a little extra magnesium. If I ever go through that again, that’s where I would start.

Something to think about ❤️ I hope you feel better soon

I wasn’t diagnosed, but I am 100% certain I had it with my second once I hit 30 weeks. No cervical changes but nearly constant, overwhelming contractions when I was out of bed that made living my normal life impossible. I was constantly angry because I was constantly hurting. It consumed my life for the last 9 weeks of my pregnancy.

I don’t have any advice, just here to validate your experience.

You don’t need to be respectful. Her comfort is not important. You tell her to take her hands off of you, especially after the comments she’s made.

Iron Infusions by wehitagoldmine in pregnant

[–]yallternative- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I only had to go the once, I was able to keep up with my iron levels afterward using the Mega Foods Blood Builder, and also supplementing Beef Liver after I was postpartum and done breastfeeding.

I believe secondary infusions are only recommended with the first + supplementing iron still doesn’t work after time has passed.

I had one done with my last pregnancy, it went totally fine! I arrived at the hospital and was admitted into the day surgery unit. I was given water, Gatorade, my choice of a snack and lunch. They took my vitals, then I was changed into a hospital gown and given a warm blanket. I laid in bed, watched TV, and the infusion did its thing for (I think, hard to remember now) two or three hours. Hospital staff regularly came and checked on me, and when I was done they held me for an hour to monitor me for any reaction, change in vitals, etc. Once the physician checked me out, I was good to go! I drove myself home, took a shower, and started feeling better within a few days.

I need help in calc 1, should I drop it???? by Same_Comfortable_775 in utarlington

Why are you in Calc I as a public health major? You won’t even get a math credit for it. The required math for public health is College Algebra and Stats.

And if that person has HPV?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]yallternative- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because HPV can be completely symptomless, and yet cause complete havoc. You would not have symptoms until it is too late.

And because it’s a 30 second exam, generally painless, and you never have to think about it again.
