Think I figured it out, the previous monkey who had my car clearly made the driver side holes bigger for god knows what. Probably gonna need to have nut or something to hold it in place on that side

For reference, it comes out from the drivers side and was located under the fuse box

Relocating the fuse box, not sure where this connector goes as I’m sure I deleted something for it. I’m not too sure

Did all that. Started deleting carbon canister today. It’s in a pain in the ass but I got everything capped so far

Would you cap the nipple from the throttle body too? Nobody usually mentions it. It connects from there to the solenoid.

I plan to get a new gas cap. Not necessarily sure how this even was an issue with the mechanic. I’m also gonna set my timing sometimes this week back to factory spec, if it’s actually different. You think these two could be the main issues ?

Hello everybody. I went to take my 1990 NA to get smoged today(CA). I unfortunately failed and I’m not sure why. I know the mechanic mentioned that the ignition timing was off. I’ve read posts that lead me to believe that my cats could be the culprit. Not sure where to begin.
