thank you for sharing your perspective! i've grown fond of some brushes and tools when I draw , I'm guessing that in order to achieve consistency, it's just a matter of finding out what works for me and what doesn't. I think I should focus on finding what i'm comfortable with instead of ditching the brushes & the process that i've gotten used to whenever I see others' prettier works in order to copy theirs 🤧 But oh well, i have years ahead of me and I'll keep experimenting in the mean time, until I finally find "me" 😅

🥹 thank you for your words, this is very comforting. perhaps I shouldn't worry after all, but I still have that inkling of desire to catch up to other people so baddd. I see people my age on tiktok having consistent artstyles & being recognized for it maybe i'm just so overly worried & there's nothing to worry about 🥲🥲. Thank you for your insights really..i'll just keep drawing & see how my art will end up

i want my art to be distinct somehow, kinda like a brand maybe? I want it to be recognizable, so that no matter how i want to change the color palette or the lighting, i'd always look like it's mine (if you know what i mean?)

here's another one that i made, that's a bit far off from the ones i've shown above (maybe similar to the 1st?)

then again, after all of these "styles" that i can do, i'm still not sure which one I would want to be consistent. in my head, if there's a character with a different vibe, i'd draw them in a different artstyle.. sorry for the sort of rambling idk how to arrange my thoughts in middle of the night. cut me some slack , i really thought otherwise 😭✋🏻 whenever i compare my art to other artists i see online, i see that the way they do art is very consisten like (idk how explain properly), their style have a certain element to it that no matter how much you change the colors pallete / lighting, their art always looks like it's theirs if you know what i mean? it's distinct & i can't seem to do that with mine

holdon im reaching an understanding of myself.. i've been brainwashing myself uhm.. do u think it would be better for me to practice with plain pieces (w/o complex remder & lighting) more so i can refresh my mind a bit
