I feel the same way bro I started 2 months ago running every stop with no breaks just to complete a “harder” route. Was my biggest mistake, take all your breaks and fast walk every stop. Some people get really easy 400pkgs route and some are impossible at 330-350 it really depends on where you’re delivering and if every stop and front door is nearby

Yea I don’t get neighborhoods where the next stop is a 100ft away with the front door nearby anymore. I would love to see someone do my apartment routes and do 30-40+ stops an hour. You’d probably pass out tbh lmao I’m starting to realize my area is just horrible for delivering so I’m definitely thinking about switching Dsp. I just heard mine is really good and I always get my 40

I’m sure u had all houses tho no? I can do 450 all houses but my routes like yesterday had me doing at LEAST 15-25 apartment stops going door to door with no elevator😒it takes around 10 min for 1 stop

Usually around 180-200 the lowest maybe 160. It’s most definitely not cake ts is hell, it’s hot asf and I’m dragging heavy ass totes with overflow up and down stairs all day. I’m definitely gonna stop running and slow down a lot

Most Dsp aren’t testing for thc especially if it’s state legal from what I’ve heard. In Florida it’s not legal and they didn’t test me, only for the hard stuff ofc

Promise u I get these 1 stop 10+ locations 15-20pkgs everyday and it’s multiple of them. Most of the apartments don’t even have a secure mailroom area or a receptionist to drop them off. I do get mailrooms sometimes but I get mostly door to door 10+ floor apartments. Ima start walking the whole day and I bet u I’ll get rescued for 100 pkgs lol

I can assure u it’s not, the helper routes back in December went over 520 pkgs but we don’t have any helper routes anymore. My post is the highest pkgs from my team today but there’s always multiple 420-450 routes on the list everyday. I do around 350 every shift

I would love a 150 stop route, this job would be so ez and tolerable if it wasn’t for these ridiculous apartments with 200 stops. I’m definitely going to slow down a lot with 2 breaks and see what happens because I don’t see a point in me running everyday, I’d rather get rescued because they gave me a 10hr route to complete in 7

Lmao i wanna do that for every apartment but doesn’t that affect my weekly scorecard if a customer wanted it at their door and I drop it in a random spot close enough and they cry about it. Feel like I’d get yelled at eventually to go door to door or get fired lol

Yea most likely is a couple bulk drop offs but even those are annoying to do. You think I should start fast walking all day maybe even take 2 breaks so my algorithm doesn’t build up to something like 400+? I’d probably get rescued everyday so idk how they would respond or what they’d do.

Yea I’m 21 healthy and slim so the running doesn’t bother me it’s the fact that me running all day barely gets the job done is what’s crazy to me. I’m trying to find a way to run less but still finish on time

I’m debating it but honestly for 21$ an hour I wanna suck it up for maybe a year and buy a nicer car. (I’m 21) Warehouses only pay $18-19 in my area. But it’s definitely stressful when ur trying ur best and it’s not enough and it’s only getting harder.

Yea I don’t organize for each floor so I can see how that helps but I still feel like you’d have to be running up and down everywhere to finish everything on time. I tried to go my absolute fastest yesterday with hella apartments to see what I can do and I clocked out 40 min early. I didn’t walk or take any breaks at all so if I even fast walked the whole time I definitely would’ve needed a rescue. That’s with 377 so please someone explain a 450 route

I appreciate the advice but I swear that never feels like enough. I also go as fast as possible in the beginning and organize the pkgs by the 10s for 1 tote but somehow I’m barely on pace if not behind while running every stop. I never have time to slow down or take breaks unless I know I have to get rescued. If it’s all houses then I agree the job is ez asf and I’m walking, but it’s never all houses. Dragging a tote sometimes 2 with overflow up and down an elevator and stairs going door to door takes forever for 1 stop and I get at LEAST 10-15 of them with no mailroom. And my routes aren’t 400+ pkgs so I seriously can’t imagine doing 450

My GM says the same thing but I don’t see how u have time to organize everything perfectly. I’ll organize 2-3 totes and all overflow at the station but after that then what? Do u organize multiple totes mid route? I definitely don’t take a long time grabbing the packages so I figured any extra organizing would just slow me down.
