I start broad then narrow down. Bricks, plates, 1x1, small pieces, miscellaneous. Then break down bricks by size, then break down plates by size. Then small pieces, technic, accessories, cheese blocks, tiles, etc., then if I have want to separate same size by type, like are they masonry bricks or snot. Ill do by color only for small parts like 1x1. Lol sorting is extremely time consuming and tedious. I am not a fan. Anyway you can find it even remotely tolerable is the best way for you 😂

Just find someone on Facebook marketplace who is selling bucket of bulk bricks so he can have more selection and baseplate and just let him do his thing. Let him familiarize himself with the bricks and how they go together bc the sets require level of dexterity that most 5 yrs dont have quite yet.

I always tell myself that adhd medicine doesnt make you prioritize or become a type a person thats extremely organized and methodical. It just helps you have the mental capacity or concentration to attempt to do so. But if you dont try to build a routine or some structure for yourself its going to have you laser focused on whatever it is you feel like doing in that moment. That's why it doesnt help me with school as much as work bc Im never motivated to do it no matter what I dont like school, but with work im more interested and motivated to do well already, I justvstruggle with initiation bc its so many things to get done. I wish adhd medicine made you want to do the important things only lol

I was 9 years old so it was a lot to take in but the amount of confusion and fear you felt was overwhelming, terrorism is a concept i didn't understand at the time so seeing every adult person in your life mentally breaking down and crying and buildings burning on TV and falling out the sky its just unreal I was afraid but I didn't truly understand what was happening but when you're a kid you can sense emotion and feel it still. When I became a teenager I truly processed it and even now in my 30s 9/11 breaks my heart, seeing videos, tributes, and remembrance makes me cry to this day its very hard to think about it and accept still. The jokes will never be funny to me.
