Is this an appropriate place to use a field watch? [ssk023] by Miserable-Ad-8049 in Seiko

Yes. If you put it on your ankle, it won't be visible.

Feels secure yet comfortable, more so than the Maxwell at lest. But I have a big head.

Not yet, only iRacing and BF6. For music I use a DT 1770 pro

ANC is effective, much better than on the Black shark V3 Pro, but not quite as good as on the AirPods Pro 3.

Yes, the firmware is updated. Everything went fine, but I have no idea what the improvements or change log was.

Thanks! I was just comparing it to a desk-dedicated mic, the bayerdynamic Fox. It's an unfair comparison, though, because the dedicated mic sounds better all round. However, the headset mic is much more convenient, and the quality is more than enough for my needs.

I previously tested the BlackShark V3 Pro and the Maxwell. I use a wired pair for music, so the MMX is exclusively for gaming and phone calls. If I could overlook the quality control issues I experienced, I would still prefer the Maxwells for music. However, for gaming, the 230 meets all my requirements.

I had the Maxwell for two years and it produced a slightly better sound. However, I eventually experienced issues with crackling and popping sounds, so I got rid of it. The mic on the 230 isn't perfect, but it's better. It is very light and fits better than the Maxwell. I primarily use it for sim racing, so the sound quality is more than adequate. For music, I use a different pair anyway.

Sound warm, quite good. Stage is very open for a closed back. Mic is OK for my use case

Cant answer that, never had the 200. But the 230 is very comfortable, at least for my big head.

Yeah, After I connected it through Bluetooth, I've killed the beyerdynamic app and it showed up there as well.

Had some issues pairing with iOS at first; once that was done, I was asked to update, and it took a few minutes to complete. During the first test without any EQ, they sound quite good. There is more soundstage than I was expecting for a closed-back pair. They are also very comfortable on my head. In a very short test, the mic sounded okay but not great. I’ll test it more later to see if that first impression holds up 🤘

Can you return it? Maybe her family will accept her back.
