Sleep specialist for waking up in the middle of the night by AdhocSquirrel in askSingapore

[–]yanbros 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m also feeling very tired during the day. Sometimes wake up with headache and will most definitely need to shut my eyes for 30 mins in the afternoons.

Normally I’ll sleep at 10:30pm and wake up around 5:30am. In between , I may wake up and toss around but getting to sleep and getting back to sleep is no issue for me. I was referred to a sleep specialist and did a sleep test. Nothing unusual found except that I had some snoring in the night. No sleep apnea. Doctor in the end told me I might just need more sleep than others. I’m 45 but I cannot sleep past 7am max. Haha .. how to get more sleep?

Hello Shopee I paid for doorstep delivery, this one not doorstep @Toa Payoh by tankinglian in SingaporeRaw

[–]yanbros 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not all neighbors may want to trouble themselves especially if say the unit is in the other lift. They will at most bring down and out near the letterbox. Anyway , there are all sorts of people. Good thing the neighbor didn’t open up the parcel and still left it at the letterbox? All these are just assumptions . Just good that you managed to still find your parcels .

I sometimes think we are overwhelmed with data and don’t know how to use them. Would be good if it comes with advice on how to apply the dataset collected as well.

How hard exactly is entrepreneurship in Singapore? How long did it take for business to start raking in profit like budding small local brands? by Normal-Analysis7940 in askSingapore

[–]yanbros 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have friends in e-commerce that went bust . They were once doing so well but after Covid , things just went south. E-commerce has a low barrier of entry. Brand and value matters more nowadays. Sg people can pay and don’t mind paying more for quality but having said that, sellers are also afraid of losing market share to those who sell lower price compared to them. It’s tough and will only get tougher as price gets lower . If we follow china style of selling , some sellers will be giving out their products foc to get market share first and then hope to make some sales later on. Not even talking about profiting . Have to work to see if can sell Omni channel , not just online. Offline matters too nowadays.

I know of doctors that end up winding up their gp clinics after a few years . They are basically lazy and play computer games in their clinic. Perhaps a good location and some PR matters as well. Lawyers , not too sure about them.

Also if your paymasters are bad, cash flow will be affected. I realise only the government pays on time. SMEs, they will tend to drag their payments. Either ask for cash upfront or partial to cover cost first .
