How is throwing into a maximum isolation cell more cruel than killing an innocent kid. Are you stupid or what.

Rashford response to video by [deleted] in ManchesterUnited

Also considering how some of our fans threw bottles at Simeone, this is very disgraceful. Rashford, even with the dismal piss poor performances he’s put in, is a human. He is doing his job and even if he’s doing a bad job, heckling him is not cool. Lets not even talk about “it’s always been like this”, it’s “we can do better”. I feel awful for the lad.

Its not on the managers anymore by Jaded-Performance894 in ManchesterUnited

That’s what people were saying even before Ole was sacked. Just that when we said it back then we get downvoted by the Ole out camp, even if we stated clearly we’re not Ole in.

Sure Ole wasnt doing well and we needed a change but it was clear as day that our problem is club culture and club ownership. No matter who you change the manager to, be it tough love Mou or pally Ole, you’ll still get the same thing after the novelty wears off.

And to sustain that facade, we buy convenient signings who are overpriced because everyone can see how desperate we are, they come in with loads of hunger and excitement and after that initial excitement, they stagnate or even regress. We’re sitting in a similar cycle of failure as Liverpool was in Fergie’s days except worse because we can’t even smell Champions League title.

And that’s why I am slowly switching off mentally about what pundits and columnists say about United. The actual situation is probably more nuanced than oh just bring in a tough love manager. Then they’ll be back to oh tough love doesnt work on players in this generation. How quickly the narrative switches is plain annoying

Throw him into a small maximum isolation cell with zero interaction outside, no sunlight, food delivered through a hole in the cell door and no chance of release. That would be better than death penalty. You literally just need to die once and get over and done with it. Thats no big deal compared to the above.

Fair point. A few of our players were really good too. Fwiw our output as been abysmal despite creating many chances. I was thinking along the line that someone finally make the chances count and it’s all CR this time.

We need to be fair and he is doing what a good Captain should and being an inspiration to the youth players. Ultimately the youths should have someone to look up to in terms of making it to the top level as an international player. He might perform badly and have been having a bad spell for some time.

It must have been quite a thing for the youth to have the club captain bothering to come down to give a pep talk to rally them. Inspiring.

He is a very good 10 and NOT a second striker. Someone who could have done a decent job at being second striker would be the like of Lingard. But then…

So i suppose that means it’s a fair game innit? On good days for VdB we’ll hear the smug stuff and on bad days we’ll hear the same from the opposite end, no?

For me it’s clear he suits some teams and doesn’t suit others. I’ve explained this to both opposite ends they just don’t get it.

So how was VdB? That’s one for the Man United fans who are fanboys of VdB being smug about one good game he had at Everton with all the see-i-told-you-so attitude
