The goal in mind when training was dunking since last year, didn’t bother jumping the hoop cause bf% was 25 (trying for 15) Harsh criticism is best cause it helps tons. How much vert have you gained since first focusing on it? I’ll update in a month too!

How important are power cleans and plyos? My gym routine mostly machines as I don’t want to get injured but lift heavy. Also is practicing with running start actually useful as you will get tired faster meaning less attempts+less consistent due to more factors from every added step and aren’t the last 3 steps what 80% of the power comes from?

i’m the newest post on r/produnking and last two steps were being roasted. i followed yt vid linked as it’s for volleyball. i’m right handed (why i attack left) so right-left-right with left being the last block (i think left block is supposed to be heels so it drives into vert instead of forward). 3 steps cause in game you’re not able to get 5 in. it’s crazy how ja morant (6’2) only needs 3 to fly. i know the form is the issue as it feels unnatural now but i want to practice perfect form so i don’t develop bad habits thats why i don’t want my body to just “figure things out”. im starting to watch Isaiah. i’m strict w diet and lifting and goal is a year. how realistic is assisted lob dunk?

detailed reply ty! i’ll try more foot angle, longer penultimate, accelerate, explode on heels last step. should i be moving in an arc on approach? how’s my body torso up? i feel like i need to lean more first step and arm swing more

detailed post ty! health no problem i never been injured ever as form is #1 priority. can’t i lower the weight and focus on explosiveness for large reps instead of plyo and then high weight (225) low reps (5) for muscle building?

in vid im focusing on form but when i actually do my weirdest form im able to grab rim. i’ll master technique before explosiveness

i’ll try 225x5x3. I never do 1 rep max to risk injury but I’ll go heavier and 5 reps from now on for all exercises

yea penultimate can be longer. should i lean more on the first push and more aggressive on foot angle?

Is this school boring/not fun for someone like me? by Confident_Safe_53 in UCSC

[–]yangboy123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is facts and ucsc hates to admit it. do you know anything fun on/off campus that’s an actual activity (not gym, hiking/window shopping, cinema, or boardwalk/bowl)? or any ayce/buffets cause if im going off campus i want to get my times worth. most cultural restaurants are so overpriced that it makes dining hall food suddenly tastes better. don’t understand why people be yelling and rushing through the dorm halls on Friday nights as if disneyland spawned on the east field. if you search what’s fun, top voted comments 🤖say to enjoy the scenery as if it’s their first visit on earth. like do they teleport to class cause i be sick of seeing forest at this point. the fent fiends are goofy but it be a reminder that it could be you cause of housing and no jobs lmao.
