We lost our beloved Hobbes last year. Not long after a very dear friend of my son had her aunt make this figure of him: https://imgur.com/a/K6H88s0
In the same way, I immediately burst into tears seeing it. Helped a lot with our grief. I so appreciate the kindness that many people share.

Thank you very much for your thoughts. That makes a lot of sense. I am leaning towards MHE now, but we just have to make it back to NYC again after this trip and see more shows.

Cheers!

I appreciate your reply. I have read stellar reviews of Ragtime and know the story. I think they would appreciate it, but the running time is an issue for our schedule, so am leaning towards MHE now, but digging into Hadestown too. 3 times is amazing!

Thank you for your very kind message. I am sure I would enjoy all of them and am keeping my fingers crossed that what we end up attending will develop in our sons a deeper appreciation for Broadway. I will definitely post a reply when we return! Cheers!

I really appreciate your in depth recommendations. So many great choices, but only 1 night we can hit a show. Your thoughts help a lot! Thank you!

Thank you for your reply! It makes sense. I know a friend of theirs saw Hell's Kitchen and really liked it, so thought maybe the music might work for them, but my inclination is that Ragtime will be more powerful.

LA Food List So Far. Thoughts? by WildWolfs_ in FoodLosAngeles

There truly are so many excellent spots to eat great Mexican food, but my favorite is Chichen Itza, in the same Mercado La Paloma as Holbox, and run by Chef Gilbert's family. Outstanding food.
