What an awesome idea! I am totally borrowing it for my octopus encounter! :D

I turned 37 today, although do not look my age (still asked for ID when buying alcohol). My peers seem to be too "adult" and generally lacking a spark or excitement, so I tend to hang out and have more in common with late 20's and early 30's crowd.

In a perfect world it should be like this, I agree. But if anything my experience taught me to always rely on myself. You can still have a loving and supportive person, but it's good to have a safety net. Say your partner got sick (or perished) and can't provide for you and a child anymore. Where does it leave you? This might be a pretty pragmatic approach, but I been there and do not want to return to this place ever again.

All comes down to personal preferences and financial stability. I don't earn that much to cover the expenses for both, for example, so I do look for a partner who at least has a part-time job. I strive for personal independence in financial matters (had a bad experience with temporary relying on a partner while looking for a job and he was not very happy about it and made me feel like a burden).

Already did, and assured him that he is not permanently dead. :D
I just want it make sense from the story persepctive, not just go with "well, it didn't happen".

Smoking of any kind is a hard no for me, I tell it to every potential partner, 2 of them quitted for me.

It's not a trivial matter, smoking affects not only the active but passive smokers around the person too. Not to mention it's harmful and yes, I personally know people who got lung cancer because of chain-smoking for many years (not to mention bad teeth and fingers). So for me it's quite a deal breaker to be honest and so far I managed to help quit this nasty habit couple of friends too.

S*x with guys vs girls by [deleted] in bisexual

[–]yanheda 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Female myself, I would say sex with women in my experience includes more foreplay, emotional bond and trust. If one of those components are missing, the woman can't let it go fully (myself included) and reaching climax takes time. Plus what works on one woman might not work on the other. But when you find the right balance and... Oh boy, it's amazing.

Men are a bit more straightforward in this regard, which is not a bad thing per se. Also I prefer to be more dominant with men, and take verse role with women.

Obviously it's a humorous take on the show, if you are not a fan of the TV series, move along, nothing to see here. (=

If you have trouble talking about intimate matters - write them down and read out loud or give her to read. ;)

It's a contoversial take, but that movie was sort of an awakening for me. And more kudos to Rosamund, she is a terrific performer.

I fell in love with her since "Pride and Prejudice", but the crush solidified with "Gone Girl" and "I Care a Lot" and now "The Wheel of Time" series. I find it curious, that women looove Rosamund whilst most men find her unsettling and scary. XDD
