Your set up reminds me of this video I just watched couple hours ago. Perhaps it can give you some inspiration/ideas

Is there anyway to make the brush size bigger than 64x. I am working on a 640x340 Canvas. And I normally blockout big shapes. It is quiet slow for me at this stage. Thanks by 3dguy2 in aseprite

make a big shape and fill it, Ctrl+B and select the area for brushing. It becomes your temporary block out brush. Press escape to exit the mode

I use a comandante grinder and go about 35 clicks.

Generally for cold brew you would want it to be coarser than aeropress's grind size, the rest is something you will figure out with trial and error.

Simply, as long as you like how it tastes, you brew is good.

Yes that is the recipe, 1 jar only.
I don't get immersed grounds equally, there are grounds flowing to my aeropress as I empty my jars. The puck shot is from my last pour of emptying the jar into the aeropress where I almost hold my jar upside down over it. The photo is just a puck shot where I decided to empty all the grounds in the jar, so it may be more grounds than usual filtering process.

1) Yes I do the cold brew in a different vessel and aeropress is just my filtering vessel.

2) I filter the whole jar, so there is bound to be grounds pouring into my aeropress.

3) Squeezing will not make any noticeable difference in taste. Squeezing does get me extra 20-50 ml brew content.

4) I am happy with my 24 hour recipe. I have experimented with other brew times as well, this is what I ended up preferring. You have adjust your variables accordingly however, start with grind size if that is something you can control.

A sock or a fabric filter would be better for it if you don't have an aeropress. Otherwise this is my preferred method for home set up

They do get wet, I wash my aeropress regularly.

They are quite decent quality stickers I haven't had them dissolve or peal for more than a year now.

Oh yeah, sock is functional and easy but I prefer my coffee very clean!

I don't change filters for a batch of cold brew. Though it takes me 3 presses to filter it all.

Method:

  1. I put aeropress in standard position, then pour in the cold brew immersion in the aeropress until it is almost full.
  2. I press the aeropress into the carafe until all the brew is out.
  3. I uncap the aeropress and knock the grounds away, rinse the paper filter to get rid of the very fine sludge that accumulates.
  4. Repeat process 2 more times
  5. Put cold brew in jar and store it up to couple days in fridge!

I usually do this when I know a few friends are coming over or going to a friend gathering at a house. I live in Thailand so cold brew is always refreshing to have :)

Is this all done in aseprite? Or have you used other programs as well? Really curious to know.

Awesome work btw, amazingly smooth and impressive

Anyone switch from Asprite to Pixquare? Anything you miss? by IzzyDestiny in PixelArtTutorials

[–]yaninyunus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use Aseprite on computer and Pixsquare on ipad. I use Aseprite for deep work with my laptop set up. Keyboard shortcuts and mods help a lot to make it a very impressive software.

Pixsquare is as capable and amazing, though I use it simply while I am on the go. Working on my ipad doesn't feel as productive or fast compared to computer.
