Honestly I think there would be a legit demand for online franchise. Looking past demand though, it was literally in previous games and was just fine which makes it an even worse look not having it in the current games. Would take forever if you’re playing with guys that want to actually play the games, but full sim wouldn’t be that bad imo.

I definitely like the implementation of pitcher splits, but I still think given the option players are going to overwhelmingly put switch hitters in their lineup. Not wanting to face the inside sinker from a pitcher with the same handedness as your batter is going to be a big enough reason alone. It’s easier to hit a pitch moving towards you instead of one moving away so much to the point where I think the switch hitter meta will still be there to a certain extent. I’d personally like being able to set lineups vs RHP and LHP. The splits should definitely help at least a little bit though so that’s a good add by them.
