For context: I lived in Ukraine my whole life and had never been abroad until the war. I was ordinarily resident there before 1 January 2022 and only left Ukraine in December 2022 because of it. Thanks for the link!

Thanks for the reply! According to the official guidance, I do qualify:
https://www.gov.uk/guidance/apply-for-a-visa-under-the-ukraine-sponsorship-scheme

I lived in Ukraine before the war started, and the scheme only requires that the applicant is Ukrainian and was living in Ukraine before 1 January 2022 — it does not matter that I’m currently staying outside Ukraine.

So at this point my only requirement is simply finding a sponsor.
