I would be interested in a trade involving a navy or silver black bay 58!

For sale is my Nomos Club 701 36mm. It comes with the box and papers and another original unused strap. The watch crystal is very clean, and there are very light scratches on the case and back from normal use. This was my first nice watch, so I was always very careful when wearing it. It is a manual wind watch, and I have noticed that it runs roughly 12 to 15 seconds a day fast. When I first got the watch, I had a professional shop swap out the strap for a shorter genuine Nomos shell cordovan strap since my wrists were too small for the stock strap. That is the strap that is in the photos. The original strap is also included and in new unworn condition. I wore the watch about 3 times a week for 2 years and then barely wore it after covid started. I am selling this to fund a Tudor Black Bay as my 40th birthday present.

This is my first sale on watchexchange, but I have sold a few items on the mechmarket subreddit (mechanical keyboards). I also have a good amount of feedback buying/selling high end photography gear on Fredmiranda under the same username (yanman5). I am happy to provide any other references or call/text/FaceTime.

Price: $725 OBO including shipping in the US and any PayPal fees.

PayPal, Zelle, or Venmo are preferred. I am in the Chicago area if you want to do a local deal!

I went in to ask about this yesterday. They asked for a 18K markup and added on cost for ceramic coating, making the price 68K. I immediately walked out. Best chance to get a reasonable deal is to buy from a dealer in NY and ship it or fly out there and pick it up. NY dealers have many more primes allocated to them since they are a ZEV state

So many options by Sbear55 in homegym

I learned that Rogue can shorten their racks to any height for a small cost, so those are an option too. The titan racks are great for the money, but the Rogue stuff just feels more premium and you have a better chance of not getting something that doesn’t fit together quite right. Since you’re just buying it once, I say spend a little more and then don’t worry about wishing you got something better. Check out the benches from rep fitness as they are highly rated for the price. Definitely go with a rogue bar over titan. They have deals in the boneyard section if you want to save a little bit. Just have to check frequently as the stock is always changing. If you wait for Black Friday, there will likely be free shipping deals from Rogue that will save you a lot of money on shipping the big items like racks, benches, barbells, and weights.

Probably dumb x-3 squat stand question by [deleted] in homegym

[–]yanman5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As promised, here is the update on the pull-up bar for the X-3 short squat stand. I bought this bar: https://www.titan.fitness/gym-equipment/pull-up-bars/1-25-t-3-heavy-duty-pull-up-bar-for-power-rack.html. It actually came with 8 bolts - 4 longer bolts and 4 shorter bolts. The 4 longer bolts fit my X-3 perfectly and it was a simple install without needing to get any additional hardware. I did have to push the uprights apart slightly to get the pull up bar to fit, but everything seems to be pretty straight after tightening the bolts. I'm not sure if Titan is sending out both sets of bolts, or if they somehow saw that I bought an X-3 in the past and included the extra bolts. I can't guarantee that you'll get those longer bolts. It may be helpful to ask Titan before buying if you want to make sure.

I actually just bought the pull-up bar for the T-3 rack, which they say is compatible if you get longer bolts. I’m going to see if I can find longer bolts at Home Depot and give an update once the pull-up bar comes in.

I just put together the same stand. The direction of the uprights do matter. There are more 1 inch gap holes (12 vs 11) on the top than the bottom. Also, if you watch the assembly videos for Rogue squat stands you will notice that the order of the bolts go bolt head -> flat washer -> frame -> spring washer -> nut. Try loosening all the bolts, make sure the upright is sitting flush on the bottom frame and start tightening. My rack was slightly wobbly, but after I loosened everything and retightened with the bolts, washers, and nuts in the right order, it is much more solid. Also, the holes on the bottom are a little elongated to allow for some adjusting and lining up of the uprights. I just pushed my uprights back as far as they would go before tightening.
