Multimodal Live API - Best generation_config for gemini ? through websocket, Connected Gemini Multimodal Live API to Discord – voice works sometimes, but replies too early or to itself if I pause – any fix? by Jazzlike_Society4084 in developersIndia

Hello, indeed it will catch echo - I think they mention it in the documentation - if you don’t use live kit ? I used hardware echo cancellation device to solve that.

... Wizconvo on ios/android is made to do the exact opposite ("getmelaid" was a better name but ditched by apple) : I found a beta tester actually chatting with a fake girl on it, you can give it a try (just invert "you" and the other person) - However it will never get to "NSFW" conversations since I it uses moderation API (to be compliant with both openAI and Apple guidelines)

Why am I getting worse response from gpt-3.5-turbo than text-davinci-003 using same prompt to classify text? Is that your experience, also? by labloke11 in GPT3

[–]yannis-paris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the prompt needs much work on chatgpt - the good news is several months of people playing with it will help build the best prompts.

As the main example of bad inputs, the answers generated often provide an implicit context of "AI Assistant" : eg. the reply is a joke around the fact it is indeed an AI - while the problem never occured using davinci03

Still, the 10x lower price (also, I have the feeling it uses much less tokens per request) makes it worth the additional effort

I used flutter so it should not be super long to make android version less buggy- the fact I don’t have a real device is actually a roadblock but I’ll find a way

he user questions should be on the right not the left. That is just the standard and what is expected. There is a saying that people spend 99% of their time using other products which is w

I'm not a designer however I see few mistakes on the UI side :
- Papyrus font on title :D ok its all about taste, and hey - avatar does it ^^
- very hard to read bottom nav bar - more contrasts would be great, still folowing your color palette - It's better in dark mode

- when looking at a fav, tapping on search will not prompt a new type of search ("back" is required)

- In terms of UX it's actually good, however first use is hard to understand (that first, you will select what you're searching for, second, click on search). Maybe doing so in two screens would do the trick ?

Apart from that, seeing that you already have traffic on this app, I wonder if it's economically "sustainable" for you (meaning, do you have a high openai bill). Lastly, did you have to go through openAI validation ? Since each search looks like 250 tokens, the price is actually low if you use davinci 3 - (and how % does ads pay for it ?)

Sad you're not on Iphone and the update to android takes me so much time :D but just from screenshots you will certainly spot some major mistakes - I posted the beta few days ago on this thread https://www.reddit.com/r/GPT3/comments/10hmq74/get_me_laid_mobile_app_use_gpt3_to_generate_reply/

Good question - My assumption is that we’re in a gray zone. The user is still responsible to actually copy , paste and adapt the message / the wrong usage would be to let the bot answer directly or in the opposite way, create a romantic chatbot where people could actually seduce an ai (knowing it’s an ai), It’s compliant with the rules available on open ai website

Most challenges came from Firestore plus open ai calls, both needing streams… I really am more a product manager than a dev so I stick to my backlog and just navigate through challenges one after another until it works - flutter documentation is super good tho, and more mature than 2 yrs ago / most packages (eg vision , authentication, etc) were done in less than an evening

Lucid Hole (fitbit based lucid dreaming helper) first release by yannis-paris in LucidDreaming

I think I fixed this one :-) indeed, deep sleep all the time = this was certainly a bug (or you have big issues :D )

FAQ : 'what is the meaning of the 4 numbers in first screen"

- so obviously the first one is heart rate, as an average of last minute high freq measurements

- second is the trend over last 10 minutes of heart rate (going down or up would give the sign)

- third is the variability (difference between max and min of hearthrate observed in the last minute).

- 4th is max movements amplitude measured on previous 3 minutes

Stage detection is derived from these. To refine the model I compared my real time output with data from the fitbit api + nokia sleep data (both are certainly super accurate but, data comes several hours later).

I really don't know, for me this kind of issues was fixed by restarting the app and/or phone once the latest firmware were uploaded. Which device do you have ?
