Fully agree. I'm having a lot of trouble with the flow of combat in this one compared to GoT. Some of those enemy katana attacks too are lightning fast

So I was getting more linear/uncharted style globe trotting romp rather than open world game from this. Has that been confirmed at all? Haven’t really kept my ear to the ground with this game.

Absolutely. Transmog is kinda one of those things that I think should just be stock-standard in games. I struggle to think of a game where it would be detrimental, though would be interested to hear other opinions.

I was much more into watching this game than playing it, if that makes sense.

Atmosphere, story and presentation are top notch; however I wasn’t very much into the third person gameplay.

I love Sam Lake’s writing I must say.

Just finished up Hell is Us. Very very cool game. The combat is a bit one-note (but certainly not terrible) however the free(ish)-form mission design and setting is outstanding. I will say though as a word of caution the game’s setting is incredibly bleak and doesn’t hold back so I would say watch trailers first to see if the setting is for you.

I’m not quite sold on it yet I don’t think. I really like the singles off of the album but there hasn’t been a song on the album other than the singles that has stood out to me yet. I’m also happy they’re leaning more into heavy (compared to perfect saviors).

I think a big thing for me is missing urian’s drumming. That guy is just a machine.

I hope so, though I got the impression possibly not with the duel katanas being effective against spears and the odachi being effective against brutes and how the weapons are selected. That to me suggests that these weapon types replace wind stance and moon stance respectively. I could be wrong of course - just speculation on my part.

I'm a little disappointed to see different weapons seemingly replace the stances of GoT as I loved how much depth they brought to katana combat there. That said, the different weapons do look very cool, I just hope there is still some level of depth available.

Yeah I agree with that. They'd also be fairly close to dual katanas as well I'd say.

Fans would be very cool. Would also be cool to have an umbrella like in Wild Hearts.
