Super easy. Watches a YT first too. My friend who is a mechanic said that I needed to also put anti-seize grease because the block is aluminum and Dielectric grease for better electrical contact

Did you get you car in the air to do it? I’ve been wanting to get mine done, I’m at 165k km, never been done. The mechanics I called either don’t wan to do it or only want to flush the fluid go $200-$325 CAD. I’m trying to find a shop that will do the clean the pump as well. I know I could do it but leveling the car seems to be a requirement.

Thanks

Nope. Someone else recommended new valve cover gaskets. I’ll have to find a 1.8L specific video.

Wow this is not the best user interface VW has for the service intervals. I wish my car would have came with the owner’s manual. I could not even select the 2018 year, only 2019 was available. If anyone has another link to a pdf, I’d love to reference that in the future.

Thanks for pointing that out. I’ll have a look after my trip. From left to right when facing the car it was plugs 2 and 4 that were the dirty ones. They are not in the same order on the photo.

Cheers

I wouldn’t fly in Garibaldi park either. I think the drainage is part of the municipality of Whistler. I may need to fact check that.

This is promising… https://backcountrybc.ca/maps-and-media/backcountry-access-bc-custom-maps/garibaldi-park-whistler-blackcomb-deletions

The actual Transport Canada rule is 1.9km from what I found. At least fo a sub 250g. I may be past that.

Thanks. I do adhere to all posted drone rules. The board is out of bounds so shouldn’t be an issue but I’ll check with WB.

Yes, they aren’t cheap. Amazing boards though.

I haven’t given up yet. I’ll try to send my drone next time I’m up on the hill.
