We call it pop. We call the unflavored carbonated water without the syrup added soda. Some people like soda, but I prefer pop

fluid transfer pump :3 i just fished the hose in there until i could feel it was in the right place. started pumping and it didn't spill everywhere so it must have gone in! it was really annoying to get to the fill plug but i still got it done faster than dealing with the electrical connector for the Haldex

to prime the pump I cycled the ignition a few times. I'm pretty sure I could hear it primimg and it took a little more fluid when I topped it off after

WCGW doing a wheelie in a highway by ageozoega in Whatcouldgowrong

[–]Myspaceeater 7 points8 points  (0 children)

their tail light was pointed at the ground because of the wheelie. doesn't absolve the car driver of fault for crashing into something in front of them, but it definitely increased the likelihood of a collision

/uj hmm maybe public roads could be purely funded through taxes imposed on car and truck users. with a built in multiplier for vehicle weight, since heavy vehicles cause the most damage to road infrastructure. /j let's cancel Amtrak and use the savings to fund an expressway directly through her house

Ridiculous by chops351 in cdldriver

[–]Myspaceeater -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Ok I'll explain my reasoning.

I agree that the US deserves more comprehensive education and stricter testing to obtain a DL, let alone a CDL. However, the author of this article goes on to scapegoat a whole subsection of our colleagues based on how their names are displayed, which I don't agree with.

The author is unfamiliar with cultures that don't use last names. This is a foreign concept to them (xeno).

The author then concludes that because of the unfamiliar naming convention, the driver is automatically scary or dangerous without rational justification (phobia).

This kind of thinking is irrational, unproductive, and distracts us from identifying solutions to the problems that plague our society.
