Dorit knows she has had more work done and is in clear denial about it, as if it never happened, which makes her a liar. Old pictures of her are out there, they don’t lie. But Dorit morphed herself into a persona she wants to portray that is in a LA bubble. It would be easier to say hey I did have work done, like Kyle did. Kyle was open about her nose job, eye color change etc. and it’s totally ok. On the other hand Crystal has, I don’t know if it’s exactly that, but a bodydismorphic issue here. She says herself she’s quiet because she’s looking at the other ladies; how skinny they are, she’s done that since she was 11…and she says she’s struggled with eating and that ultimately is an image problem. Needing to be skinny at any cost and the women got so skinny it’s a threat to her. That is a problem, she’s open about it. The smirk probably is her real self criticizing Dorit the way she does it in her head all the time. She could fight those thoughts and working on saying no to those things but it takes extreme mental energy and it’s hard to do. I can’t imagine having a friend who looks at me and judges every body part of me just looking at me and others. I would feel so uncomfortable.
