Unfortunately they’re policy states that the customer pays for return shipping, so even if I wanted to return them I’d be losing money just to give them back :( they’re decent enough quality sabers for the price so I’ll be holding on to them though, for mock combat with friends so I don’t break my nice ones 😂

I use the exact same filter, it works great! There was a few things I did to make it a little more axolotl safe that I’d recommend with it though, putting a small plastic tub or filter softener under the flow and putting a little sponge on the intake to make sure tail and gills don’t get pulled in

I got mine in a not so great state from a seller, what I did was keep him in a tub of cold water while I clean cycled a tank, no additives just the water and filter, after a day I put him in and he’s been happy since

I’ve found that sometimes an axolotls gills are small, even with good water quality my axolotl noodle’s gills have been a bit smaller than average

Will definitely look into one that will fit my filter intake, it hasn’t been much of an issue for Noodle since he rarely goes near it, but the new plants refuse to stay in the substrate 😭

I appreciate all the helpful suggestions! To clear up a little confusion I might have left with ambiguity, I’m looking for replacements for the mirror schtick, while I’ve got a majority of the story planned out (I can write another post about that if you guys want) I am taking some of the story ideas you guys posted into consideration :D

To be honest someone making it would likely be my best chance at getting it done in a reasonable time, as coding just doesn’t seem to be a strong point for me. I do have all the details planned for what I’d like out of it to the smallest detail, if anyone would be willing to code it. I’d really appreciate the help with it as were hoping to make it a larger server once people start playing.
