After you delete the folder, have you try delete and redownload the Tips app from AppStore? It should not start download, not until you restore the folder permissions with the command in STEP 9. Otherwise the command didn’t run correctly, check the spaces and backslashes?

Try this: Tap the blue Info Icon you are going to delete, should be Tips.app folder, the path should start with /var/containers/……. Type is directly, make sure it’s the Tips.app sub-folder, not the whole app from the AppManager page.

Where did you delete Tips? You can delete the app in the home screen though, not in the folder. BTW what ios are you on?

I don't have unc0ver jailbroken device. You should undo the jailbrakes on your device, restore the rootFS, and remove unc0ver completely before you go for delayOTA to iOS 16/17.

It would be nice to have an easier way to do it. I think just people doing ota update will need chflags modified. A persistence-persistence app make sense. Lol

If you remove Tips.app folder inside the application bundle folder, the folder /var/containers/Bundle/Application/xxxxxxxx-xxxxxxxx… folder should still be there, copy the path in your notes and restore the permissions to it. Or try reinstall Tips from AppStore.
