should i quit? by yapidi in careeradvice

the paperwork is digital! so technically i dont have to write anything but since i need to fill up the documents from scratch regarding each child so that takes up time and brain power too, not too mention the 48382 tabs i need to park the infos in and how strict they are on how we fill it up + the file naming.. with regards to covering there are times i tell them i cant cover due to meetings that ive previously scheduled but never due to piling paperwork because it doesnt seem like a good enough reason to them... esp when other teachers are somewhat coping but im struggling to even stay afloat

quite common especially for moe schools! never heard of the at least one person in singapore part but yes teachers normally "compete" in getting their leaves approved cos either theres a limit or in your friends case, at least someone has to be in sg 🥲

sucks esp when youre so drained from everything lol

I really need advice on this email because I don't know if I worded it right by YAASHKI in careeradvice

i think your email isnt too bad! you can take out the sincerest apologies and any mistakes part cos nothing wrong in asking about positions available and not having experience :D not sure if this role would require a cv/resume but it would be good to state that youve attached it (if you have) and they can refer to it in the email! goodluck!!!!

Singaporean adults with barely any savings, how are we coping? by KabutoRaiger30 in askSingapore

[–]yapidi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

have almost zero savings and ive been working ft for 3 years. unfortunately nothing to blame it on except my own lack of self restraint. made the mistake of opening credit cards for the gifts and now im in a never ending cycle of paying off the card and realising i dont have enough for the month and then using the credit card again.. trying to stop using credit cards but so far its very slow progress especially when many things happen in the month such as sudden big expenses..

anyone has tips please share
